OPEN HOUSE AND RIBBON CUTTING: Maid Right of Duluth

Maid Right of Duluth held an Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on December 3rd at their new location at 1585 Old Norcross Road in Lawrenceville, GA. Dozens of business leaders and supporters attended the event hosted by franchise owners Dave and Joanne Wilkins.

Attendees included representatives from the Atlanta Gladiators hockey team, Georgia Swarm lacrosse team, Comcast Spotlight, Sterling Rose Consulting Corp, and the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. 

Business RadioX was broadcasting live from the fun event. Several business leaders were interviewed including Danessa Itaya, VP of Maid Right’s corporate office, and Dave Wilkins, owner of Maid Right of Duluth.

Maid Right offers professional home cleaning services to serve the community and also provides franchise opportunities. Life is short, so clean less!

Mike Sammond

Mike Sammond is an award-wining radio and television sports announcer and former sports anchor at CNN Headline News, WRBL-TV (Columbus, GA), 92.9 The Game (Atlanta, GA) and WRFC Radio (Athens, GA). His work has also appeared on ESPN.

He is an experienced play-by-play announcer of professional and college sports, covering all four American major sports including baseball, football, basketball and hockey. He has called games in Major League Baseball, Arena Football League, International Hockey League, NCAA and the Southeastern Conference.

Mike has served as a segment reporter and announcer for Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) and Olympic Channel News at four Olympic Games (Vancouver 2010, London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020), three Paralympic Games (Vancouver 2010, London 2012 and Tokyo 2020) and one Youth Olympics (Singapore 2010). He also worked as a commentator for International Sports Broadcasting (ISB) at the 2015 European Games.

Mike is currently the President and CEO of Gwinnett Business RadioX, a company that produces, distributes, and markets online radio shows and podcasts for businesses of all sizes in the Atlanta area.
