Run the Reagan is an annual community event featuring a Half-Marathon, 5K and 10K road race down Ronald Reagan Parkway in Gwinnett County. In addition, the event features a 1K fun run. All proceeds, other than those necessary to produce the event, are donated to charitable organizations. The 2020 designated recipients were The Brookwood Schools Foundation, The Lilburn Cooperative Ministry, and The Southeast Gwinnett Coopertative Ministry.
The 26th Annual Run the Reagan was held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 and Business RadioX was broadcasting live from the event, interviewing runners, race officials, sponsors, vendors and school officials. The broadcast was hosted by Mike Sammond of Gwinnett Business RadioX and Ryan Sauers of Our Town Gwinnett Magazine. Below are some of the excerpts from the day’s events.
