The Well
Tonya Cohen established The Well as a non-profit ministry in Cumming, Georgia, in 2021. Inspired by her faith and belief that God called her to this purpose, Cohen started The Well to provide a welcoming community space for people to connect, share their stories in a safe place, and experience the love of Christ.
The Well aims to be an accepting environment with the tagline “Be. Be Real. Be Loved. Belong.” It hosts events to foster community building and offers one-on-one mentorship through its “Total Wellness” program. With facilities like a cafe, gathering areas, and prayer room, The Well creates an inviting atmosphere for people to come together, all supported by Feed the Well BBQ and Biscuit Barn and other donations to the organization.

Feed the Well BBQ and Biscuit Barn
Feed the Well BBQ and Biscuit Barn is a restaurant and catering business that supports The Well ministry’s mission through its profits, operating under the tagline “BBQ with a Purpose.” Formerly known as Fagan’s Biscuit Barn, the business maintains the traditional Southern menu items that made Fagan’s so beloved. The same biscuits Fagan’s has been serving for so many years are the highlight of the breakfast menu, along with other traditional breakfast fare. Long-time lunch entree choices such as chicken tenders, country fried steak, chicken n’ dumplings, and fried chicken are still available, along with a variety of veggie sides. The restaurant remains at its long-time location at 1530 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming, GA.
Traditional Southern barbeque has been added to the menu, and it is available for dine-in at the restaurant, delivery, or catered. Whole-hog pork, brisket, chicken, smoked wings, and turkey are just a few of their delicious offerings. Their popular monthly “BBQ Fundraiser” events directly benefit the non-profit ministry’s activities by providing a welcoming space for people to connect.
