BRX Pro Tip: Next Level Community Engagement Tip
Stone Payton: [00:00:00] And we are back with Business RadioX Pro Tips. Stone Payton and Lee Kantor here with you. Lee, let’s talk a little bit about community engagement.
Lee Kantor: [00:00:10] Yeah. Community engagement is so important as everybody is trying to build community as kind of their go-to-market strategy and to grow their business. At Business RadioX, we do something, I think, pretty creative in a way to kind of take community engagement to a new level. And the thing that we do is whenever somebody announces that they’re going to be hosting a new show, we do what Stone calls the Oprah episode, where we interview them on one of our house shows and let them announce that they are going to be hosting this new show, and we let them talk about the show, why they’re doing it, who they’re looking for as guests, what the listener can expect to learn from the show. You know, Stone calls it the Oprah Show because of the way that Oprah used to leverage her show to launch Doctor Phil or Doctor Oz.
Lee Kantor: [00:01:00] But this rite of passage emotionally immerses our client in our community, and it also creates that useful content for those new hosts, because now they can share it with their network and basically explain and give third-party credibility to the show they’re about to launch. That way it helps them successfully launch their show to the people that are most important to them in order to help them get that escape velocity when it comes to getting the right guests.
Lee Kantor: [00:01:31] So, it’s a great way to create that community engagement that really benefits our clients, and it helps effectively launch as it has historically effectively launched dozens, if not hundreds, of shows.
