BRX Pro Tip: The Key to Successfully Onboarding New Clients
Stone Payton: [00:00:00] Welcome back to BRX Pro Tips. Stone Payton and Lee Kantor here with you this morning. Lee, let’s talk a little bit about onboarding a new client. What’s the key to doing that successfully?
Lee Kantor: [00:00:12] I think, if you want to have a successful onboarding of a customer, there is one thing that has to happen that will kind of lock them down and you’ll have a customer or a good chance to have a customer for life. And that thing is, you have to have them have success or some aha moment where they understand the true potential of whatever it is you’re doing for them, whatever that service is or whatever that product is. So, you have to kind of map out the minimum required number of steps they need in order to have that light bulb moment where they’re like, “Oh, I get this now. Oh, I see how this works. This is going to be great for me.”
Lee Kantor: [00:00:53] So, be clear. They got to have that win early on. We talk about that all the time. They have to have a win early on. And if you can help them get that win, whatever that win is, where the light bulb goes off and they go, “Man, this thing is great. I get this. I’m going to wring out all the value I possibly can from that.” If you could do that quickly, you’re going to have a customer that’s super happy. They’re going to get it. They’re going to be clear on what it is you deliver. And they’re going to want more of it. So, that’s my kind of advice on this regard. Get them a win as quickly as you possibly can.
