BRX Pro Tip: Remember Your True North
Stone Payton: [00:00:00] Welcome back to BRX Pro Tips. Lee Kantor and Stone Payton here with you. Lee, it is so important, I’ve come to believe, and much of it from hanging out with you, I think, to remember our true north. And I can’t think of anybody better to ask about a brief conversation in this regard than the founder and the CEO of the company. So, can you speak to this general idea of finding and remembering true north? And maybe a few words about your true north for Business RadioX.
Lee Kantor: [00:00:35] Yeah. In times of crisis, this is really important because you have to remember the reason you’re doing what you’re doing. And in our case at Business RadioX, we’ve grown. Right now, there is a crisis happening in terms of a pandemic that’s impacting the world, and we can’t lose sight of the reason that we got involved with Business RadioX. We think it’s important to use our service to help people meet and serve the people most important to them, that our service helps them do that.
Lee Kantor: [00:01:10] Now, historically, we’ve done that face to face in the studio. That’s how we used to go about. And then, that was our big selling point. And if people wanted to meet more people face to face, then our system works extremely well to help them do that. We’re not saying stop doing that. In our case, the media is an essential service, so we’re able to do that, and we’ve been doing it through the entire time. So, I’m not saying stop doing that, but what I’m saying is that just remember that part of what we’re trying to do is to be the voice of business in the marketplace as well, and that we can do that virtually, and we can help create these relationships between our clients and their guests virtually.
Lee Kantor: [00:01:52] It’ll be a different way of doing it, or it might require more services for us to provide in order for them to help facilitate those relationships. But at the heart of what we’re trying to do is that every Business RadioX studio is to become the voice of business in their community and every Business RadioX sponsor is trying to become the voice of business to the constituents that are important to them. That has not changed. That is still the same. That is our true north.
