BRX Pro Tip: Social Proof
Stone Payton: [00:00:00] And we are back with BRX Pro Tip. Stone Payton and Lee Kantor here with you. Lee, today’s topic, let’s talk about social proof. Why we need it? How we get it? Anything that we can offer our colleagues with regard to social proof.
Lee Kantor: [00:00:17] Well, when people make a buying decision, some people like to buy and like to be the first to buy things. And those are the early adopters. And they don’t need as much social proof. They kind of get it. They want to buy it. Another group of people, a much larger group of people need to know that whatever the thing is, has helped somebody else. That it’s really going to work because they don’t want to look foolish and they don’t want to make a mistake. So, for those people, having social proof is really important in order to sell them something. A lot of them won’t even consider buying it unless there is some sort of social proof. And that’s where these testimonials, online reviews, case studies come in. The more of that stuff you have, the more likely you are going to be able to sell that group of people.
Lee Kantor: [00:01:04] So, now, if you’re a studio partner and you’re part of the Business RadioX Network, this is one of the really important benefits of being in the family here. Because anything we capture in a given studio, any social proof that we have anywhere in the network, we can use it in our market and share that same social proof. We can say, “Hey, Mr. Wealth Manager, we have this thing that worked really well in this studio. I’m sure it’s going to work for you. You can even call the guy that that did the show.”
Lee Kantor: [00:01:38] So, that kind of social proof allows us to leverage the network to show a prospect in our market how someone else in a similar industry benefited elsewhere in the network with the same kind of tool. So, that’s why it’s important for us, as studio partners, to keep capturing as much of these testimonials, reviews, and case studies as possible. And the beauty of our business, everything we do is published. So, all of our work is out there for anybody to see. Anybody can contact any sponsor and studio partner and talk to them and see how it’s working.
