BRX Pro Tip: Stop Comparing Yourself to Others
Stone Payton: [00:00:00] And we are back with Business RadioX Pro Tips. Stone Payton and Lee Kantor here with you this morning. Lee, it’s an easy trap to fall into, at least, for me, but you’ve admonished me on more than one occasion, “Stone, stop comparing yourself to others.”
Lee Kantor: [00:00:17] Yeah. Ultimately, we’re running this race by ourselves. We’re not really competing with anybody else. There is no real competition. We are unique. And then, what we do isn’t going to be for everybody. So, you got to really be comfortable with that, and understand that no one does what you do exactly like you do.
Lee Kantor: [00:00:38] And what you have to do is just find people who like you, and want to do business with you, and stop comparing yourself with anybody else, and don’t worry about what anybody else is doing. Run your own race. There’s plenty of business out there for everybody, and you just got to find the right group of people that appreciate you, that value you, and want to work with you. And then, serve the heck out of them, so they never leave.
