BRX Pro Tip: Successful Client Onboarding
Stone Payton: [00:00:00] And we are back with Business RadioX Pro Tips. Lee Kantor and Stone Payton here with you. Lee, let’s chat a little bit about some disciplines for successful client onboarding.
Lee Kantor: [00:00:13] Yeah. Onboarding is an important part of the process of the selling. And I think a lot of people lose track of it. They get all happy when they sold something and then they kind of lose track of keeping the momentum going once you have made that sale. And when you have an onboarding process, it’s important to make sure that every step, especially the early steps, are very clear and very simple. This eliminates miscommunications and inaction. Any type of confusion quickly moves in the client or prospect being overwhelmed, which inevitably leads to inaction.
Lee Kantor: [00:00:45] So, make sure that you’re clear in your action steps. Have a communication system that nips inaction in the bud very quickly. You’ve got to make sure that if something has stopped, you better kind of jump in there as quickly as possible to keep the momentum going. Anything you can do to reduce as much friction as possible while keeping your prospect or client gaining momentum early with some sort of win or some sort of kind of proof of progress, this will often lead to a more successful outcome and a happier client.
