Stone Payton: [00:00:00] Welcome back to BRX Pro Tips. Stone Payton and Lee Kantor here with you, Lee, why is it so important to tag your guests and your clients in social media?
Lee Kantor: [00:00:12] Well, mentioning your guests and clients are great, but tagging them lets them know that you’ve done that. So, if you don’t tag them in a lot of the social media platforms, they will not see the post that you’re sharing. So, when you tag them, you’re letting them know that you posted about them and you’ve included some content that includes them. So, by tagging them ,that lets them see it so they can share it to their folks. And if they tag somebody within that, then they can share it. And you kind of create this hot potato of a piece of content that gets more and more engagement.
Lee Kantor: [00:00:43] So, if you can’t tag them in the post for whatever, if you’re using some automation, you may want to just tag them in the comments. Because, either way, they’re going to see the post and begin the sharing process. And everybody wins when this stuff is shared. So, it’s important to take a little time and, maybe, you can put an intern on it or somebody can be put on it to tag the folks that you’re dealing with. And it doesn’t have to be just the people that participate in it. It might be tagging people that you think might benefit from the content. So, remember, tagging helps you share more effectively.
