BRX Pro Tip: Find Out Where Your Clients Hang Out
Stone Payton: [00:00:00] And we are back with Business RadioX Pro Tips. Stone Payton and Lee Kantor here with you. Lee, it’s like page one or two out of our show concept strategy session, but one of the things that we advise our clients to do is put some real thought and energy into this finding out where their clients hang out.
Lee Kantor: [00:00:21] Right. It’s important to understand your client from kind of a 360-degree view. You got to know what are the associations that they’re members of, what are the groups that are important to them, what are the nonprofits that are important to them. And then, show up there and be a good steward of that responsibility of serving that community. So, when you show up wherever your clients are, they’ll see you as a valuable member of their tribe and community, not just another vendor.
Lee Kantor: [00:00:51] So, provide value whenever and wherever you show up to these places. Don’t just write a check and think like, “Oh, I joined. So, I’m good.” You got to get involved, you got to provide value and leadership. And if you do that, you’re going to stand out, and your clients and prospective clients are going to trust you. They’re going to see that you’re not they’re just transactionally serving, you’re actually doing things in a relationship-centered way to really help the community and to help them. So, if you want to position yourself as that kind of a leader, then you’ve got to show up where your clients are and serve those folks, as well as your prospective clients.
