Melissa Wheeler certainly has an eye for talent, and her recruitment efforts have brought some of the brightest minds across the nation into the Luckie fold. A mother of four, Melissa earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communications at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, where she attended school on a music performance scholarship. Melissa joined Luckie in 2006 as the agency’s first human resources employee. Prior to her work at Luckie, Melissa served as senior stores recruiter at Dick’s Sporting Goods, state program director of Very Special Arts Mississippi, and HR manager at Target. In her role at Luckie, Melissa oversees recruitment, hiring and orientation of all employees. She works closely with agency leaders on employee performance improvements, and she’s also their resident counselor for all things professional and personal.

Dr. Audrey Arona graduated from the University of California-San Diego in Cell Biology/Biochemistry and thereafter graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1991. She completed an OB/GYN Residency at USC in Los Angeles in 1995, began private practice thereafter in San Jose, and later moved to Lawrenceville, GA where she owned an OB/GYN private practice for 20 years. A lifelong resident of Gwinnett, Schelly Marlatt is passionate about people and community, crediting her parents for instilling the values of engagement, service and paying it forward. She believes the phrase “it takes a village” rings true as it takes many people with different qualities, skills and values from all walks of life to make a community great. Her deeply rooted commitment to community has led her to serve Gwinnett County Government since 2010 and assume the role of Executive Director of
