Melissa Bauer is the Area Director for the American Lung Association in Georgia. Melissa has focused her non-profit work to the health related disparities and chronic illnesses. The mission of the lung association is personal to her as she has family members who suffer from lung disease. She has recently joined the Atlanta team and this will be her first CLIMB event ever.

Coming from a long line of strong women who have always been involved in volunteering, the importance of giving back has been ingrained in Claire Duncan. But losing her Dad to lung cancer has fueled her passion for philanthropy that much more and taken her on a new mission to raise awareness and find a cure. Claire sought out a positive way to channel her grief and found the American Lung Association when she registered for the Fight For Air Climb in the Spring of 2013. That was the beginning of a wonderful relationship with the A.L.A. and since that time, in addition to participating in these events, she has served on the 2014 Atlanta Climb Committee as well as the 2014 Lung Force Chair Recruit and 5K Committee. In her professional life, Claire works in the Office Tenant Representation sector for CBRE, Inc., a global commercial real estate firm with offices here in Atlanta.
