
We interviewed legendary body builder Lee Labrada and he immediately asked us to be his friend on Facebook at
Labrada Nutrition. He said that there is a great free 12 week training program on there. So after we did that he told some behind the scenes stories about the early years of bodybuilding with Arnold and the gang. He was pretty emphatic that those body building competitions are nothing like beauty pageants. There are pranks and the competitors took that stuff pretty seriously. In order to compete at the highest levels you had to train and eat right 24/7 – which requires a tremendous amount of self discipline.
And Lee shared some fitness tips to help get you in shape. He said that humans are meant to move so stay active every day. He also said that to opt for lean meats and keep your stress levels low.Dr Fitness and Lee talked about the benefits of high intensity training for both cardio and strength training in order to get your muscles to failure.
