Welcome to Across The Bridge, a podcast connecting people with the conversations, resources and community working together to create pathways toward recovery, stability and a better life.
Sometimes the hardest part of asking for help is knowing where to find it.
Across The Bridge was built to help answer that question.
Across The Bridge is a faith-based nonprofit human services organization serving the greater Atlanta community. But its work reaches far beyond any single program, service or definition of recovery.
And so will the conversations we have here.
We’ll sit down with people who see this work from very different sides — individuals with lived experience, recovery professionals, counselors, nonprofit and community leaders, pastors, law enforcement, attorneys, advocates, educators and the organizations providing critical resources throughout our communities.
We’ll talk about recovery, but we’ll also talk about prevention, mental and behavioral health, the justice system, employment, housing, family dynamics, community resources and the circumstances that can determine whether someone gets the help they need — or even knows that help exists.
We’ll introduce you to people doing remarkable work, explore the gaps that still need attention and, most importantly, connect people to resources that can help.
Because there isn’t one road to a better life.
Sometimes it starts with a conversation. Sometimes it’s a meeting, a mentor, a counselor, a pastor, a program, a second chance or simply the right introduction at the right time.
Whatever that next step looks like, no one should have to figure it out alone.
There is life on the other side.
There are people ready to help you get there.
And sometimes, all you need is a bridge.
Welcome to Across The Bridge.

The following seventeen years of his recovery ministry were out of Campus Church of Christ located in Norcross, GA. He is an ex-Marine and Viet Nam Veteran with thirty years in management, buying, and sales in the automotive industry. Glenn celebrated thirty-seven years of sobriety in 2022 and continues to serve and love those who seek recovery.

Through all the years of leading addiction recovery ministries he has learned that the traits of love, acceptance and excellence in service are the keys to ATB’s growth. Every day is a day to bring forth the full potential of a recovering life.
