Trinity Hundredmark, Ann-Carol Pence and Paige Havens

The Gwinnett Chamber’s Moxie Awards recognize both individuals and organizations alike. Organizational awards highlight companies that support the advancement of women, as well as those that are women-led. Individual awards honor those who are trailblazers in a male-dominated field, Gwinnett County champions, emerging leaders, professionals who are at the peak of their career, and those who are generous with their time, talent or resources.

Trinity Hundredmark/Andersen, Tate & Carr (On the Rise Award)

For over 30 years, Andersen, Tate & Carr has set the standard for legal excellence in greater Atlanta. The firm was founded in 1988 by Ethel and Tom Andersen and is now the preeminent law firm in Gwinnett County and one of the largest firms in all northeast Georgia.

Their attorneys are leaders in their respective fields, committed to providing a wide range of services. They combine the personal attention and dedication of a “small town firm” with the expertise and sophistication of a “downtown firm.”

Equally as important, service is truly a way of life at Andersen, Tate & Carr. Their attorneys are leaders in the community, serving on boards for nearly every charitable organization in Gwinnett County. ATC has been a longtime supporter of the Gwinnett Chamber and its programs and is proud to be a sponsor of the inaugural Moxie Awards.

Ann-Carol Pence/Aurora Theatre (Outstanding Organization Award)

Now in its 23rd season, Aurora Theatre produces professional live entertainment to suit everyone’s taste. Aurora Theatre is home to over 850 events each year. Two series of theatrical productions, the Peach State Federal Credit Union Signature Series and the Harvel Lab Series, are comprised of the biggest Broadway plays and musicals alongside exciting contemporary theatre. Additionally, Aurora produces concerts, stand-up comedy, children’s programs, metro Atlanta’s top haunted attraction (Lawrenceville Ghost Tours), as well as Atlanta’s only professional Spanish language theatre, Teatro Aurora.

Nestled on the square in historic downtown Lawrenceville, Aurora Theatre is a world-class theatrical facility with two performance venues. Aurora has free attached covered parking and is surrounded by restaurants and shops.

Paige Havens/Community Advocate (Pay It Forward Award)

Paige Havens is an independent marketing and community relations consultant that has worked in the Gwinnett Community for more than 20 years. She is a change agent that has led many big initiatives that have significantly improved the quality of life in Gwinnett. Through the years she has founded Gwinnett’s Great Days of Service, chaired SPLOST campaigns, helped launch Gwinnett Medical Center’s Women’s Advisory Council, championed GMC’s Concussion Institute, and much more. Paige is great example of a business leader that applies her professional skills and talents to be a catalyst for action that benefits our community at large.

Chris Mixon/Synovus

Their humble beginnings date back to a Georgia textile mill and a simple act of kindness. One day, a worker’s hard-earned savings spilled from the hem of her dress after it became entangled in factory machinery. Taking notice, an executive offered to secure her money in the company vault and pay her interest – a service soon extended to all workers at the mill. Those deposits marked the beginning of the company that would become Synovus.

From helping businesses across three different centuries to financing modern corporate expansions to cheering for the hometown football team every Friday night, Synovus has always been proud to be part of their community. It’s why they smile when they see their customers in any of the nearly 250 locations across the Southeast – from major cities to the main-street hometowns. “This is where we belong.” Welcome to the bank of here.

Chris Sanna & Melissa Martin/Atomic Wash

For over a decade, Atomic Wash has focused on infusing brands with new energy. Their expertise is creating high-impact brand communications that engage, excite and motivate, because that’s what drives revenue and delivers results. They believe that by producing branding, marketing and sales materials that are disruptive, engaging, meaningful, memorable and authentic, Atomic Wash enables clients to build their brand and grow their business.

Vince DeSilva/Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce
