She has a professional background in management, human resources, corporate training, business consulting and talent development.   Patricia has worked with companies in the service, music, banking, manufacturing, publishing, warehousing, healthcare, academic, retail and financial industries, and has taught management classes as an adjunct professor.

Patricia has a degree in Human Resource Management, is certified as a Career Coach and Consulting Hypnotist and is MBTI qualified.

Her volunteer energies are focused on Women in Film and Television-Nashville, where she is a Board Vice President; Dress for Success as the Advisory Board President; and International Coaching Federation-Nashville where she held Board roles for several years.

She enjoys songwriting, creating poetry and has written a one-woman show and artistic speech she performs titled Hello, Self…, about a woman in midlife reinventing herself, which led to her new book by the same name, available here.

On the personal side, Patricia, describes herself as a woman, lover of life, mother, grandmother, career professional and message artist; AND in that order!  Her goal is to continue inspiring others, of any age, to START NOW creating and expanding their Runway to Success.

Cindy David Yoga

Cindy David has been practicing yoga for over 20 years now and it has had a holistic life-changing impact in every area of her life.

After an intensive 4-month teacher training, Cindy emerged like a phoenix from the ashes with this profound sense of inner well-being, a new sense of confidence, and the ability to start speaking her own inner truth. Since that time, she has become certified in Kundalini Yoga and started to directly work with the Chakra energy system. Depending on the student, she offers Vinyasa/Power Flow Yoga and Kundalini. Oftentimes, she combines both of these types of yoga in her classes in her own signature program, “FLowlini”.

During the pandemic, she was one of the first yoga teachers to go online and started offering “FB lives” just to get people moving and out of the COVID crazies.

She works with private clients all the time and started working with a fun group of 75-85 year olds. She learns as much from them as they learn from her. Additionally, Cindy has taught all over Nashville at Studio Indigo, Small World Yoga, and the Gordon Jewish Community Center.

In the community, she teaches at Faith Family Medical Center, The Next Door (a recovery center for women in addiction), and the Women’s Prison. She also teaches in high-end apartment complexes from Sylvan Park, to the Gulch and everywhere in between.

Lastly, she hosts fun yoga events – Yoga Brunches, Yoga & Mimosas, and 1/2 day retreats from her Nashville home backyard.

Cindy has been designing jewelry for the past 20 years. She has come a long way from working with plastic beads and plated metals being sold at the I-24 Expo Center and Flea Markets. And, even then her designs sold out at these shows. While working at Coca-Cola, she got her “big break.” While running errands for her then boss, she ran into a lady at Starbucks who complimented her on her jewelry and Cindy shared that she was a  “jewelry designer.” She was intrigued and asked if Cindy would come to her small real estate office.

Cindy showed up to that tiny real estate office of 4 women and not only sold out of her current designs, but took orders for the same pieces! She made more money in that 1.5 hour appointment than in a whole week working at Coca-Cola! Shortly, after that fortuitous meeting, she left Coca- Cola and Cindy David Designs was born. The rest is HER-story!

Cindy David has been practicing yoga for over 20 years because it brought a sense of calm and inner peace that she had only heard about through “Spiritual Masters” but didn’t think was available to her. While in a Hot Vinyasa Class, the teacher’s words made such an impact on her that she signed up immediately for Teacher Training immediately and has now been teaching for 3 years.

Cindy lives in Nashville with her two rescue cats. After her two loves of yoga and making jewelry, Cindy loves travel and cooking.

Tammy Wolcott co-founded W Squared in 2005, which became part of the LBMC Family of Companies through acquisition in 2017. Tammy currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of LBMC W Squared, growing the company and providing guidance to all of the core infrastructure service offerings with particular emphasis on Finance, Accounting and Procurement. Tammy has served on the Board of the Nashville Healthcare Council, the Board of Visitors for the Lipscomb University College of Business, the Harpeth Hall School Board of Directors and has been a presenter/panelist at business and start-up company forums with the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, Smart Business Dealmakers, the Social Enterprise Alliance, Baker Donelson, Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management and Lipscomb University College of Business.

A Nashville native, Tammy graduated from the Harpeth Hall School, attended the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill and received her BS in Accounting from the University of Tennessee. Her charity passions include Nations Ministry which assists refugee families in Nashville, Warner Parks, the Land Trust for Tennessee and the Harpeth Hall School. She currently works with On the Avenue which provides job training in the arts and creative endeavors to people with disabilities.

The 2021 AAOMS Annual Meeting will be offered in-person and online. For professional staff this year, a limited number of in-person education sessions are planned with a more robust program online.

Dr. B.D. Tiner, President, AAOMS

B.D. Tiner, President, AAOMS

Dr. Tiner is a surgeon with Alamo Maxillofacial Surgical Associates, a partner practice of U.S. Oral Surgery Management (USOSM). Dr. Tiner’s private practice encompasses all areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMS), including the management of obstructive sleep apnea, orthognathic surgery, dental implants and maxillofacial pathology.

He is a diplomate and past president of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a fellow of both AAOMS and the American College of Surgeons. Additionally, Dr. Tiner is an active member and past president of the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and serves as an ambassador for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Foundation.

“Dr. B.D. Tiner is a dedicated and effective leader, and he’s one of the finest oral surgeons the industry has ever seen,” said Richard Hall, USOSM president and CEO. “It is a tremendous honor and responsibility to be named president of AAOMS, which is the industry’s largest professional organization dedicated to surgeon education and patient safety. Dr. Tiner will lead this organization and its people well, and we are excited to acknowledge his achievement and congratulate him by sharing this news.”

A former U.S. Navy Captain, and currently an adjunct clinical professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Dr. Tiner has served as a mentor and teacher to countless OMS students and professionals. In addition, he has authored or co-authored numerous scientific publications and book chapters.

Dr. Tiner holds a bachelor’s degree in zoology from Arkansas State University, a DDS from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, and his MD from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. Dr. Tiner’s post-graduate training included an internship in anesthesia and a residency in OMS at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Karin Wittich, Executive Director, Practice Management and Governmental Affairs, AAOMS

Karin Wittich is Executive Director at AAOMS. Ms. Wittich has over thirty years of experience within the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and served as an administrator for all group practice types and sizes.

Ms. Wittich has extensive knowledge of the day-to-day operations of an OMS practice and oversees the development and implementation of practice management and coding educational activities at AAOMS. Additionally, Ms. Wittich has extensive knowledge of both federal and state government affairs activities and is a passionate advocate for the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery, and has been with the AAOMS for over twenty years.

Ms. Wittich is an Honorary Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Beth Hayson is Associate Executive director of Continuing Education, Meetings & Exhibition. She is responsible for the programs of all AAOMS continuing education meetings, conferences, programs, and special and joint meetings and events. Her office investigates and develops new ways to conduct educational programs at AAOMS. She provides guidance to AAOMS volunteers, members, and staff on ADA CERP and ACCME policy and requirements.
