A recent Swedish study has shown that exercise may help create more cells in the disks of your lower back. The study concluded that the increase in cells should increase the circulation which in turn will help relieve lower back pain. To us the study was too small and not on humans so take it with a grain of salt.
If you suffer from neck pain here is a quick tip for some quick pain relief. Grab one of your kid’s rubber balls and lie on the floor. Put your head on the ball and do some isometric exercises using the ball as a bit of resistance.
If you are having a lot of sinus pain you might want to try and hum in order to alleviate some of the pain and discomfort. Instead of trying an over the counter drug you might try to just hum in order to get some sinus pain relief. Go to the doctor if it is really painful and is not getting better. But if it is just that annoying pain then try these things. Runners please stretch more – and start your urn slowly rather than full speed – you get the best stretch if your muscles are warm up a little before you stretch. Do some balance training – try the wobble board, or balance on one leg, then switch. there are lots of balance exercises that are easy and to do that will help strengthen your legs. Try exercising with those foam rollers. And if you are going to use anti-inflammatories – try the natural ones like pineapple and ginger before you go the over-the-counter NSAID route.
