Celebrating Powerhouse Women salutes and recognizes women who are making an impact, whether it’s in business, philanthropy, public service, or elsewhere.

The Sugarloaf Community Improvement District was formed in 2016 to ensure the long-term success of Gwinnett County’s premiere business and entertainment district. It is located in one of the region’s top ten employment centers and is also home to the Infinite Energy Center, a regional destination that attracts over a million visitors a year. The CID is a self-taxing district that leverages property tax dollars to make improvements in the area. Property owners who are members have the opportunity to voice their opinions, while the CID works on their behalf for specific initiatives to increase connectivity, ensure security, promote a more attractive environment to live work and play.
