Founded in 1989, TLC Caregivers is Northwest Florida’s most established provider of private duty personal care. Growing from simple roots – a startup out of the founder’s living room – TLC’s mission is to provide the highest quality assistance to those in need while maintaining their dignity and independence.

In 1997, TLC was acquired by a local business leader who, himself, learned the value of high quality, dependable caregivers in helping his own mother live at home. Under this leadership, TLC Caregivers has flourished and has earned its reputation as a leader in the industry.

Operating in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties and offering 24-hour non-medical care, TLC gives peace of mind to countless families in the area. We take pride in providing appropriate, timely care to assist clients in their independence and to provide families respite as they care for loved ones.

for aging adults in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

Empowering someone to live a healthy, safe and independent life in their own familiar surroundings is also good for the community.

Council on Aging of West Florida is a local, independent 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that has served seniors and their families since 1972. Council on Aging of West Florida helps seniors in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties live healthy, safe and independent lives in their own familiar surroundings by providing community based, in-home programs and services such as Meals on Wheels and Alzheimer’s respite care, which is provided by our Adult Day Health Care Center. Other programs and services include case management, the Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion Programs, caregiver support and training, and the operation of numerous senior dining sites throughout Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.

TLC Caregivers cares for PEOPLE – birth to geriatric; children, disabled adults, elderly, Family Caregivers.  TLC Caregivers is the area’s oldest non-medical in-home provider of services having been established in 1989!  We provide needed in-home non-medical services such as companion, respite, homemaking, bathing assistance, errand running, dressing & toileting assistance with a personalized plan; short term, long term, or one time.  Some companions provide transportation and can be included in your or your loved one’s specialized plan.  We empower independence in one’s own living environment.  We have private pay options and work with area non-profits with funding sources.   Our agency is licensed by AHCA, Florida’s Agency for Healthcare Administration, we are bonded and insured, and we are a Drug Free Company!  TLC Caregiver employees are actual employees with W-2’s, NOT 1099’s.   Call us when you need us!  We answer our phones 24 hours per day, every day and can provide care up to 24 hours per day as needed.
