Bradley Hilton/Modera Wealth Management

Bradley S. Hilton is a Financial Advisor at Modera Wealth Management, LLC. His role involves working with clients to formulate planning goals, developing and implementing wealth management strategies and monitoring clients’ progress in working toward their financial and investment goals. Bradley has experience working in all areas of financial planning, including retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning and risk management.

Prior to joining Modera, Bradley was a member of the wealth planning team at Wells Fargo Private Bank. Before that, he was a Wealth Strategies Analyst with U.S. Trust, a Bank of America company. He began his financial planning career as a Financial Analyst with The Ayco Company, part of Goldman Sachs.

Bradley earned his MBA from Georgia State University with a Masters Concentration in Personal Financial Planning. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Technology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Bradley is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Laura Akins/Nadler Biernath

Laura Akins practices in the areas of elder law, probate, and estate planning with Nadler Biernath. Laura assists her clients in planning for family emergencies, finding solutions for complicated mixed family circumstances, and for the end of life. After a loved one has experienced a catastrophe or passed away, Laura helps clients navigate through the probate procedure and legalities.

As a native of Atlanta, Laura appreciates the opportunity to serve her hometown community. With patience and empathy, she guides her clients through the often overwhelming estate planning or probate processes. Laura finds it incredibly rewarding to connect with her clients and make difficult circumstances easier.

Laura received a B.A. in History from the University of Georgia and a J.D. from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University. She is an active member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers and the Atlanta Bar Association. Laura serves on board for the Elder Law Section of the Atlanta Bar and for the Threshold Community Program (a/k/a The Community School).

Jessica Reece Fagan/Hedgepeth Heredia Law

Jessica Reece Fagan practices exclusively family law with Hedgepeth Heredia Law, helping her clients navigate the challenging issues related to divorce, custody, alimony and child support, modification, legitimation, and contempt actions. In addition to litigation and trial experience, Jessica assists clients to resolve matters amicably through private mediation and settlement out of court. Jessica is admitted to appear before the Supreme Court of Georgia, all Superior and State Courts of Georgia, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

Jessica is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar (“YLD”), and the State Bar Family Law Section. Stacy W. Hanley is a partner at the law firm of Lefkoff, Duncan, Grimes, McSwain & Hass, P.C. Stacy practices primarily in the areas of tax and estate planning, probate, estate administration, real estate and closely held business matters.

A native of Atlanta, GA, Stacy graduated magna cum laude from Washington & Lee University in 1996 with a B.A. degree in Classics and Economics. Lisa Brown/Brightworth

Lisa has focused her entire career in wealth management for high-net-worth families. “The most rewarding part of my job is helping my clients retire well, with confidence and security about their future.” Her straight forward, results oriented approach appeals to the busy professional.

Lisa is a Partner and Wealth Advisor at Brightworth where she works with a select number of high net worth families in the areas of investment management, executive compensation, retirement transition and estate planning. She began her wealth management career in 1999 developing personal financial strategies for top level executives of Fortune 500 companies. Lisa joined Brightworth in 2005 as the Manager of Financial Planning and was promoted to Wealth Advisor in 2009. Lisa received her Masters in Business Administration with a personal financial planning concentration from Georgia State University. Timothy Sheehan/BNY Mellon

Tim Sheehan is a Vice President and Senior Wealth Director in the Atlanta office of BNY Mellon Wealth Management. He is responsible for advising affluent families and institutions with their portfolios, trusts, estates, foundations, endowments and retirement plans, making him a trusted advisor to wealthy families and institutions throughout the Southeast. Tim, in conjunction with BNY Mellon’s Portfolio Team and Wealth Strategist, works closely with his client’s tax and legal advisors on all matters ranging from tax and estate planning, concentrated stock positions, sale of privately held businesses, and family governance.

Karen Havey/BNY Mellon

Karen Havey is a Family Wealth Strategist for BNY Mellon Wealth Management. Karen joined the firm in 2016 bringing ten years of experience as a practicing tax attorney. In this role, she works to develop innovative strategies in wealth transfer analytics and ownership structures to maximize our clients’ wealth after taxes and across generations.

Karen has over ten years of experience providing comprehensive wealth planning advice to individuals and families. Most recently, she was a partner at a national tax law firm where she advised high net worth clients and families in regard to wealth and estate planning with emphasis on the estate, gift and income tax laws. She spent substantial time assisting fiduciaries with post mortem planning and tax filings. Her practice was also heavily focused on advising entrepreneurs in regard to asset protection and business succession planning through the use of trusts. In addition, Karen frequently advised clients on the implementation, structuring and repair of captive insurance companies.
