BURST Agency, is a full service, crème de la crème Special Events Production, Media Relations and Affluent Lifestyle Management Agency. We represent clients in entertainment, fashion, sports and corporate business. Our department heads bring with them leadership and experience in these industries and a reputation of excellence and success. Ultimate client satisfaction is the backbone of that success. Quality and detail in execution is what keeps our clients coming back.

Cynthia Walton

BURST Agency is headed by Cynthia L. Walton, “The Renaissance Woman”, as she is affectionately called by her peers, for the truly innovative and extensive background she has compiled for herself in the entertainment and event planning business.

Starting in Dayton Ohio in 1990, Cynthia as well as other prominent figures in the Ohio Valley quickly realized her ability for producing and executing first class events. Cynthia began designing and formatting events for local politicians such as Congressman Tony Hall, Judge Tony Capizzi and City Commissioner Bootsie Neal; as well as local music artists such as Roger Troutman and Shirley Murdock. This prompted Cynthia to come up with a format for her own events through her own company by the name of ‘Jazze Synsations’, which proved immensely successful; drawing the participation of celebrities who were performing or visiting the Dayton, Ohio area such as Lionel Richie, Gregory Hines, Anita Baker, Boomer Esiason, Ickey Woods, Mike Schmitt, Ron Harper, Edwin Mosses, Mike Tyson, D.L. Hughley, Robert Townsend, Tim Reid, Lou Rawls, Cyndi Lauper, Babyface, Boyz II Men…and many more!

Since 2000, Cynthia has organized and executed many private and corporate events for an impressive portfolio of clients representing companies from all industries. Events for these clients have included golf and tennis tournaments, concerts, celebrity fund-raisers, product launch parties, media tours,  corporate management meetings and all kinds of themed events.

Cynthia’s leadership, strategic planning and coordination with respect to mailing lisst, sponsorship support, production needs, creative consulting, and event staff support, specifically address common oversights in event production. In 2005, Cynthia’s earnest desire for event excellence led her to open BURST Agency, her own full service Entertainment and Lifestyle Management Company.  In her role as CEO & Director of BURST Agency, she has developed a following through her formulated events such as , Bio-Brew,  Artistic Cocktail, and World Bazaar. Though formally launched the year of 2010, BURST Agency has already become a force in the Entertainment and Lifestyle industry by broadening its scope and base of operation. Through Cynthia’s leadership, the company has developed and is currently developing relationships with other service professionals to pave the way for BURST Agency’ s current growth and growth projection.

Elizabeth Cambridge

Elizabeth embarked on her professional journey approximately 9 years ago as a humble Administrative Assistant.  Her attention to detail, strong communications skills, business aptitude and organizational abilities have made her an invaluable asset to every organization she has worked in. “I take my profession seriously because, at the end of the day every company needs a strong administrative backing to be successful and keep on growing.” says Elizabeth.

Elizabeth has lived and worked in different countries around the world and in multiple US cities which have granted her a unique perspective and business savvy that few can boast of. And today, as Senior Project Manager of BURST Agency, she brings this diverse experience and knowledge to her position, while helping to coordinate the various departments of the Agency, its teams and clients. “The challenge is not keeping all things going at once; the challenge is to make sure that each service is provided at top-notch quality every single time. That is what makes BURST unique” says Elizabeth.

Justin Snider

Justin is an Atlanta native who is currently pursuing a Marketing degree at Georgia Tech.  His passion is to work in the music and entertainment industry, so working for BURST Agency is a dream come true.

In keeping with his passion for music, Justin currently serves as the Assistant Manager of WREK Radio at Georgia Tech and is responsible for securing underwriting for the station’s various programs.  In addition, he DJs at WREK on a regular basis.

Justin is currently working on the marketing and promotion campaign for two artists that the Agency manages, namely, Jarin, a singer/songwriter and Crushed Ice, an acid jazz band.

Justin’s hobbies include travel, tennis and of course, music.  He also speaks German fluently.

Henry L. Watson

A Fashion Stylist by choice, Henry fuses exquisite details and design concepts into his styling presentations on a consistent basis. His attention to detail and fashion forward sense makes him a true connoisseur in this art.

In the early days of his career, Henry worked in the retail field where his skills of visualization and presentation were honed incredibly; he mastered the rare skill of making things “look good” for consumers in order to encourage sales and invariably create steady revenue. The pressure was always on to perform and perform at one’s best especially when visual presentation was key.

His desire to work in the fashion industry led him to obtain an Associate’s degree in Fashion Design from Bauder College in Atlanta, GA. Henry sought to advance his career in Fashion Styling and, this wise choice has given him exposure and opportunities to work with some notable names in both fashion as well as media.

Henry has worked as Wardrobe Stylist on various fashion shows for industry designers and major retailers. From July 2007-February 2009, in addition to working as Wardrobe Stylist for a mega-retailer, Henry also styled for the Teen Vogue Fashion Show event (2009) and the BCBG Generations Fashion Show (2008).

His signature styling ability has opened doors for him to work on editorial shoots for some prestigious magazines, namely, the cover shoot for SobeFit magazine with Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN Medical Correspondent; with Elle Duncan, Radio Personality, for Jezebel magazine, and for others such as Downloadz magazine, Rolling Out magazine and Kore magazine, just to name a few.

Henry has also worked with celebrity photographer, Drexina Nelson; Factor Agency; Teyana Taylor (Hip Hop star) and many others.

In TV media, Henry has worked as a Wardrobe Stylist for television Pilot shows of “At the End of the Day” and “Dish Dialogues.”

His experience and knack for visual detailing has also earned him the opportunity to work as Display Artist at the Starlight Children’s Foundation fundraiser in March 2009 and at the Mayor’s Masked Ball Silent Auction in December 2008.

As one can readily see, Henry’s repertoire speaks for itself. His ability to quickly grasp a concept and present its fashion equivalent through styling is indeed exemplary. Yet, his journey has only begun and his dreams keep pace with his passion.

We interviewed legendary body builder Lee Labrada and he immediately asked us to be his friend on Facebook at Labrada Nutrition. He said that there is a great free 12 week training program on there. So after we did that he told some behind the scenes stories about the early years of bodybuilding with Arnold and the gang. He was pretty emphatic that those body building competitions are nothing like beauty pageants. There are pranks and the competitors took that stuff pretty seriously. In order to compete at the highest levels you had to train and eat right 24/7 – which requires a tremendous amount of self discipline.

And Lee shared some fitness tips to help get you in shape. He said that humans are meant to move so stay active  every day. He also said that to opt for lean meats and keep your stress levels low.Dr Fitness and Lee talked about the benefits of high intensity training for both cardio and strength training in order to get your muscles to failure. Lee recently decided to get back in fighting shape in order to pose for a photo shoot in Muscle Magazine to celebrate his 51st birthday

Lee’s story is another great immigrant rags to riches story which is perfect to listen to this Indpendence Day.

Some people think that it is better not to eat anything before a workout or exercise session in order to burn more fat. Research just does not back that up. A recent study with a bunch of bikers did not come to that conclusion.

We interviewed our good friend Dr Tim Harlan aka Dr Gourmet about his new book Just Tell Me What to Eat. This former chef and now big shot doctor in New Orleans loves the Mediterranean diet and told us what we should be eating to stay healthy. When Tim is not consulting with the Food Network on ways to make healthy meals he is saving lives at Tulane University School of Medicine. He is on a short list of doctors who started as former restaurant owners.

Dr Gourmet is a natural outgrowth of Dr Harlan’s interest in good food and good health. He says Eating well and eating healthy is the same thing.” In his new book he teaches you to transform your pantry. his recipes take less than 30 minutes. But will require you to plan your meals for the week ahead of time. This way you will always have a healthy choice no matter what curve ball your schedule throws at you. If you follow Dr Gourmet’s meal plans then you could see a dramatic change in your blood chemistry which will help you live a healthier life.

His book is the anti-fad diet book. He emphasizes lean meats, healthy fats, whole grains, seafood and lots of vegetables. But he will teach you to make healthy versions of your favorite meals like fettuccine Alfredo to paella.

Whether classified as fiction or nonfiction, writing requires creativity. Today’s guests share their insights into the creative element of writing.  Freelance writer and editor Betsy Rhame Minor favors creative nonfiction when she turns to writing books.  Sales representative and IT whiz, Russ Chapman escapes the black and white world of IT through writing fiction and humor and commical twists of a biographcial nature.  How much creativity is “allowed” in creative nonfiction before it would become fiction?  How much reality has to be present in fiction in order for it to be believable?  Does it matter? What motivates these guest experts when they write?
