This morning we talked about the “Workplace Revolution” happening because women are leaving the workforce at a much faster rate than men. How is Corporate America responding to the needs of women in the workplace. Mary Welch, editor of Atlanta Business Magazine discussed her cover story The Mystery of the Workforce Revolution, with us this morning. This morning we talked to Josh Felix owner and publisher of Atlanta Hospital News.
Atlanta Hospital News’ number one goal is top quality health care journalism written for Atlanta’s most successful, powerful health care business executives and professionals. This morning Amy Otto couldn’t make it and we had Nathan Hunt as our co-host and we talked all about Glycomics with Joseph McKenna. Joe is the host of a new radio show called Impact of Glycomics that can be heard worldwide every Wednesday at 11:00am EST.

Joe explained that many researchers, physicians, and scientists believe that Glycomics may be the future of health. He said that more and more research institutes and universities around the world are discovering its importance. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology has declared the science of Glycobiology to be “possibly one of the ten greatest breakthroughs in the 21st century.��? Part of the reason Joe created his radio show is that information about Glycomics, though readily available, is not mainstreamed in a way that encourages knowledge sharing.
“Impact of Glycomics” is a radio show dedicated to that function. “Impact of Glycomics” is the lay person’s and the professional’s source for scientific knowledge. His shpow will bring together the great minds in this emerging field in order to share the depth of Glycomics while relating the information to the average citizen. This morning we talked about some great resources business owners can use to outsource their HR and CFO needs.

First up we had on Phil Davis who is a partner at FlexHR, a Duluth, GA based business. In irder to be a prtner for FLexHR you mustr have over 20 years senior HR leadership experience. Phil has over 30 years experience with comapny’s like GE and Pitney-Bowes, so he knows his stuff. He explined to us that today Human Resources compliance can be expensive and complicated. He said that they typically work with owners of emerging and mid-market companies with revenues up to $75 million who want to increase cash, profitability, sales and company value. This morning we talked all about remodeling your home. We started out with Kelly Riedinger with KR Associates talk about her work as the liaison between the home owner and the builder.
