Too Busy Gals
(520) 990-2107
Jessica Badowski is the owner and founder of Tucson based Too Busy Gals. Too Busy Gals was established in 2008 in Ohio and moved to Arizona in 2011. It was established as a business to the business service provider after multiple requests for assistance with social media, branding, and marketing from peer business owners. After 20+ years in non-profit management and anti-poverty social work, Jessica decided to break out and start her own business. In 2008, it became quickly apparent the need for high-quality education and coaching social media services were exploding. After 3 years working with national partners in marketing and social media, Too Busy Gals began developing its own roster of clients. Current clientele ranges from a local manufacturing company, land developer, Moroccan artisan e-commerce business, to NYT Bestselling author, and non-profit serving breast cancer survivors.
Too Busy Gals is very active in the local Tucson business community. Currently, Legacy Partners of Local First Arizona, strategic partners with Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Marana Chamber of Commerce, and Vail Chamber of Commerce. Charity and volunteer work has been a passion of Jessica’s and is a central part of Too Busy Gals business model. Currently, Too Busy Gals is part of 100+Women Who Care Tucson, eWomen Network Foundation sponsor, and partner with Big Hearts, Helping Hands Arizona Secret Santa program.
Lisa Benson joined Too Busy Gals in October 2017. Her role is community outreach and connecting local businesses to the training and coaching services Too Busy Gals offers. With a background in event planning, marketing, and advertising research, and extensive marketing experience in networking environments, she ensures Too Busy Gals meets the needs of the Tucson business community. As an active 4-H mom and owner of dogs, birds, rabbits, chickens, pigeons, quail and recently a cat, she is an avid animal enthusiast.
Lisa Benson born in Phoenix, AZ and grew up in the small, farming community of Buckeye, AZ. Both sides of my family worked in farming Cotton, Alfalfa, and cattle, had huge vegetable gardens, lots of chickens and an occasional pig or goat. That would seem a long way from what you do now Lisa? She graduated from the University of Arizona in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She and her husband were married in 2000, and you have lots of dogs, a cat, several rabbits, chickens, pigeons, quail, cockatiels, tortoises, and fish! and your daughter raises rabbits, quail, chickens, and pigeons for the Pima County 4H program and competes in shows all over Arizona and the big show is the Pima County Fair in April. I guess you can take the Farm Girl out of Buckeye but not for life or your daughters for that matter,
Lisa likes to keep busy, being recently nominated for the board at the Greater Vail Area Chamber of Commerce and will add that to my busy life of work with Too Busy Gals and volunteering as the Rabbit Coordinator for Pima County 4H and The Club Leader and Rabbit Leader of the Little Rascals 4H club in Vail.

Stone Payton: [00:00:01] And we are back with Business RadioX Pro Tip. Stone Payton and Lee Kantor here with you. Lee, let’s talk about this idea of supporting and celebrating, actually, partnering with other media in your community.
Lee Kantor: [00:00:13] Right. This is something that you shouldn’t be afraid to partner with what some people might can consider competitors. Other podcasters, newspapers, blogs, radio stations, TV stations, magazines, newspapers, all those people are out there. You can look at them, on one hand, as competitors because you’re kind of vying for maybe some of the same advertising dollar, but they’re really not because they’re all doing something a little different, and you’re doing something in a way that none of them are doing the work that you do. So, I say invite them on a show. Bring on a podcaster, a business blogger, a magazine, or a newspaper, and let them talk about their work. Bring in a columnist, or an editor, or somebody like that and give them a chance to tell their story. Maybe they have a conference. Maybe they’re working on an event that you can partner up with.
Stone Payton: [00:01:05] Well, and look at the positioning that that provides for you when you are the person, you are the gracious person that has brought them into your house. You’re supporting, and celebrating them, and giving them that platform. As I’ve said for years, Lee, serve your competitors, and you won’t have any.

I was a bit skeptical at first, so I asked for a guarantee. I wanted at least a return of investment. I took a leap of faith and gave it a try with the podcast game plan. We sat down and put together a 1-year strategy of who all my guests would be and what the shows would be about. I basically got to target and handpick my future customers, and it worked.
“As a successful woman entrepreneur, I need to stay ahead of the game, and the Tucson Business RadioX marketing platform allows me to do that. I look forward each month to hosting my next episode.”
— Karen M. Fisher – Senior Loan Officer, Summit Funding.
“What a dynamic and inspiring individual Mark Bishop is. When we met, he explained how podcasting and Tucson Business RadioX would be a tool to grow my business not just digitally, but with lead generation directly from our chosen guests. This has become a stable part of our monthly lead generation plan.
Our podcast, ‘Ask the Gals,’ has become a 24/7/365 doorway to our social media expertise for interested current, and future, clients. Tucson Business RadioX is a winner for us!”— Jessica Badowski – Owner, Too Busy Gals
“I am thrilled with my business results from Tucson Business RadioX. Mark is a thorough professional and is constantly working with me to be my best. “I launched my ‘Small Biz, Big Voices’ podcast with Tucson Business RadioX six months ago. It gives me an opportunity to deepen my relationships with my clients, who are often guests. It also increases my value to them as a resource, since they receive positive exposure for being on the show. If you are considering ways to expand your marketing presence, I recommend Mark’s podcasting program as something that establishes your credibility, expertise, and presence in your industry.”
— Stephanie Rising – Business Coach, Author, Public Speaker – Owner, The Rising Effect
The Tucson Metro Chamber features special guests from all areas of business on their show, “News from the Chamber,” hosted by President & CEO Amber Smith and Vice President Michael Guymon. “This is a fantastic way to introduce new business to Tucson!”
— Amber Smith – President & CEO and Michael Guymon – Vice President, Tucson Metro Chamber of Commerce
“My experience with Mark Bishop and ‘Tucson Means Business’ was different than other shows and interviews I have done. There wasn’t a formula script that was old and tired. This had a fresh and honest exchange of ideas, information and quality engagement throughout the episode. Mark doesn’t ambush his guests, but rather, he created an environment where I was able to share and discuss issues that the listener would care about. I found myself to be better engaged, and that translated wonderfully to the podcast. Thank you, Mark, for being an inspirational interviewer!”
— Chuck Zaepfel – Southern District Director, Junior Achievement of Arizona
