LUKE MARKLIN, CEO of Bellhops is an EXPERT and SHARES TIPS ON EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO PREPARE FOR A MOVE because quite frankly, moving can be very stressful. Go to  www.GetBellhops.com

LUKE MARKLIN, CEO of Bellhops says, “Americans are on the move. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, people in the U.S relocate, on average, about a dozen times during the course of their lives”. Whether you’re moving across the country or to the other side of town, it can be a daunting task – and not particularly pleasant – especially if you don’t have your act together.

Luke also shed light on recent data showing what cities are experiencing the greatest influx of people, and why. If you’re one of the more than 35 million Americans who’ll be moving to new digs this year, this is news you can use.

Declutter your home (donate or sell the stuff you don’t need). Be strategic about your moving date (weekdays can be less expensive and avoid the first and last weekend of the month as those days tend to be busiest).

Copy and secure important documents and place them in a folder for easy access

 SUGGESTED INTERVIEW QUESTIONS:

  1. Millions of Americans are planning a move this year. Where are they going?
  2. Moving can be a stressful experience. What are your top tips to make it go more smoothly?
  3. What kind of a check-list should you make before a move?
  4. What other resources are available to ensure it all goes according to plan?
  5. Where can viewers go for more information?

MORE ABOUT LUKE MARKLIN:

Luke Marklin is the Chief Executive Officer of Bellhops, America’s fastest-growing moving company dedicated to revolutionizing the traditionally low-quality moving industry through outstanding efficiency and customer care. He is a passionate leader dedicated to utilizing technology to build great businesses, better customer experiences, and high performing teams. Previously, he was a General Manager at Uber overseeing the operational success of the Southeast markets. Before Uber, he held positions in strategic planning at Emerson Electric Company and in project management at Barton Malow Company. Luke received his MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s in construction engineering management from Purdue University.
