Let Your Life Flow helps women who are tired of being angry, anxious, sad or stuck to release high-intensity emotions and blocks using proven energy psychology techniques.

Jo-Lou-Spleth-on-Phoenix-Business-RadioXJo Lou Spleth is a long-time entrepreneur and former corporate manager whose experience with the stress of owning and running a business, as well as going through the common life trials of divorce, parenthood and grief, led her to pursue a spiritual path as strongly as her career path.

Her first-hand experience of burning out in her corporate role literally pushed her to develop a stress management course for business professionals. Then she added a number of energy psychology techniques to get to the real root of most stress — energetic baggage and limiting subconscious beliefs. She’s worked with dozens of professional women to clear the true driving force holding them back from enjoying business and personal success.

She specializes in experiences around partner stress, such as divorce and problematic business relationships; anxiety at home and in the workplace; healing deep grief, and overcoming feelings of being stuck towards reaching a goal. Today, she also focuses on the general fear and anxiety arising from the current global public health crisis and how that exacerbates all the usual stresses facing people.

Jo Lou also runs a successful software company, SilverWind, and coaches business teams on embracing the changes that come from introducing a new technology to the workforce or eliminating the blocks that individuals face when going after an ambitious new business goal.

She is an active single mom of a very busy high school son, a musician, avid hiker, and optimistic backyard gardener.

MIND MONEY MOTION Anna Sparks with Sparks Systems and Chrissy Barth with Nutrition Lifestyle Education

The registered dietitian shared the importance of a wholistic approach to improving diet with an emphasis on pro-biotic rich foods (fermented) and high fiber foods (plant based foods) along with the advice to identify 1-3 specific actions to tackle at a time. The exercise physiologist explained a metabolic approach to optimize blood sugar in our body by focusing on two fuel tanks and using breathe to calm our brains via exercise.

Both guests boiled down sensible advice for exercise and nutrition with a logical and understandable explanation with examples as to how and why our gut health and brain health are related along with what we can do about it. Better diet and exercise really gets us to improved health, quality of life, and longevity, who doesn’t want that?

MIND-MONEY-MOTION-Anna-Sparks-with-Sparks-Systems-and-Chrissy-Barth-with-Nutrition-Lifestyle-EducationSparks Systems is a health and performance coaching company that helps clients be the best that they can be by optimizing metabolic efficiency in an effort to enhance their performance and quality of life through nutrition, movement and breathing.

Sparks provides a way to measure metabolism and then creates a plan that will move each client towards metabolic efficiency. Metabolic Testing is the only true way to know if your body is efficiency using its internal stores of fat and carbohydrate. The test is simple and takes about 30 – 45 minutes. The result is a detailed report of exactly how much fat and carbohydrate you burn at rest as well as at different intensities of exercise.

It’s a simple test, much like blood work, that will help you understand your baseline Metabolic Efficiency and more importantly, help the Sparks System Team assign you a Sparks Score as well as understand if your nutrition program is working or not.

Anna-Sparks-on-Phoenix-Business-RadioXAnna Sparks is certified MET Level 1, Metabolic Efficiency Training Specialist (METS) which is defined as a systematic nutrition and exercise approach to improving the body’s ability to use its internal stores of nutrients, specically carbohydrate and fat.

Anna has more than 16 years of experience as a personal health and performance coach, from collegiate athletic teams to one-on-one training. She received her bachelor’s degree in exercise science and master’s in exercise physiology from the University of Mississippi, where she also played soccer and served as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach in the Ole Miss athletic department. She also worked as with Olympic swimmers at Auburn University while earning her master’s, and after graduation joined the University of Arkansas as an assistant soccer coach for the Lady Razorbacks.

Anna’s love for soccer eventually brought her to the Valley to coach Arizona State University’s soccer team in 2008. It wasn’t long after moving to Phoenix that she realized
her love for cycling and triathlons, transitioning to competitive cycling in 2009. She competed in the women’s professional peloton for six years, racing in events such as the Tour of California.

Today Anna enjoys non-competitive cycling and is an avid hiker.

MichaelOConnorMichael O’Connor is Director of Strategy and Project Management with Medtronic was founded in 1949 as a medical equipment repair shop by Earl Bakken and his brother-in-law, Palmer Hermundslie.

Did these two men set out to change medical technology and the lives of millions of people? No. But they did have a deep moral purpose and an inner drive to use their scientific knowledge and entrepreneurial skills to help others.

That spirit — combined with our founders’ personal integrity and passion — became our guiding philosophy and, ultimately, the Medtronic Mission.
Our first life-changing therapy — a wearable, battery-powered cardiac pacemaker — was the foundation for many more Medtronic therapies that use our electrical stimulation expertise to improve the lives of millions of people.

Over the years, we developed additional core technologies, including implantable mechanical devices, drug and biologic delivery devices, and powered and advanced energy surgical instruments.
