“Colorado Prep Spotlight” is a TV show about high school sports broadcast on Altitude Sports in the Rocky Mountain Region. 11:00 AM. The University of Denver is one of the most successful non-football Division 1 athletics programs in the country with recent national championships in men’s ice hockey and men’s lacrosse. Arapahoe Park is a Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racetrack that operates in Aurora, Colorado during the summer. The Arabian Jockey Club is the governing and promotional body for Arabian horse racing in the United States. The Sport Management department at Metro State University, based in Denver, is the only program in Colorado and one of only 32 Bachelors programs in the United States to achieve Commission on Sport Management Accreditation.
Jonathan Horowitz announces, writes about, and produces social and digital media for sports. An Emmy Award finalist for “Sports Play-by-Play” in the Heartland region for 2015 and 2016, he is both a play-by-play and public address announcer for basketball, football, horse racing, soccer, and more. He has produced sports stories for Altitude Sports & Entertainment, AT&T SportsNet, and AuroraTV in the Rocky Mountain region.
Horowitz has also authored books for the Publishing Office at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. He currently teaches in the Sport Management Department at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
In addition to broadcasting horse racing, Horowitz is an aspiring eventer competing on an Off-the-Track Thoroughbred he used to announce.

Evangeline Downs is a full entertainment complex located in Opelousas, Louisiana (outside of Lafayette), which includes a casino, racetrack, hotel and Eeventcenter. The casino is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
Michael Chamberlain has been the Racing Announcer at Evangeline Downs since March 2015. Prior to that, he worked as Announcer at Sam Houston Race Park, Turf Paradise, Vernon Downs, and several other racetracks as well.
Michael has been working in the racing industry since 1997. In addition to his announcing duties, he has also been an oddsmaker, track handicapper, media personality and writer.
Michael was the Voice of the NTRA Great State Challenge in 2002 at Houston and has been a 3- time participant in Breeders’ Cup All-Star Announcers’ Day (in 2002 at Arlington Park, 2004 at Lone Star Park and 2006 at Churchill Downs).

Daniel Liguori is currently a graduate student at Grand Canyon University’s Colangelo College of Business and the Studio Ambassador / Production Intern here at Business RadioX. Daniel graduated from The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism in 2012 with a Bachelors Degree in Broadcast Journalism. Daniel has launched a new show called Business Scorecard on Phoenix Business Radio X. The show airs on Tuesday afternoons at 1pm. Business Scorecard takes an approach to Arizona Sports and the business and fan side of sports. Some featured guests to the show have been Arizona Diamondbacks play-by-play announcer Mike Ferrin and former NFL player Edward Smith.
