12th Annual Back to School Back Pack Program Golf Tournament

May 15, 2019 by Mike

The 12th Annual BTSBP Golf Tournament was held on Monday, May 13th at the Summit Chase Country Club in Snellville, GA. Business RadioX is proud to sponsor this worthy cause every year and broadcast from the event.

Listen in as Duffie Dixon interviews the charity’s founder Steve Kendrick following this year’s tournament.

https://stats.businessradiox.com/29615.mp3

About the Back to School Back Pack Program:

The Back to School Back Pack Program is a non-profit, charitable corporation created by Steve Kendrick of Infiniti of Gwinnett and Subaru of Gwinnett in 2007. The goal of this charity is to provide children in Gwinnett County who are either homeless or have family hardships with a backpack and the essential supplies needed for going back to school.

The charity has already provided over 10,000 backpacks filled with basic school supplies since its inception. Every year Infiniti of Gwinnett and Subaru of Gwinnett employees and families volunteer countless hours to ensure the goals of the charity are met. They really appreciate the support they have received at their events over the years!

We know times can be tough. However, times are even tougher for these children in need. The goal every year is to supply hundreds of backpacks, fully stuffed with school supplies and personal items, to those children in the community who need it most. Help them achieve this goal and bring a smile to a child’s face in Gwinnett County. Please tell your relatives and friends about this charitable opportunity so that more people can participate in this worthy cause.

This year’s winning foursome in the golf tournament have been invited to play in the 2020 Mitsubishi Electric Classic Pro-Am. This prestigious golf tournament pairs amateur foursomes with a Champions Tour Pro in the best of the five-player team format. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to play golf “inside the ropes” with a pro!

All proceeds from the golf tournament benefit the Back to School Back Pack Program. For more information, please contact Kim Jones at kjones@infinitiofgwinnett.com or (678) 812-8533.
