Lee Kantor: Yeah, perfection is kind of a trap, and it holds people back. It causes procrastination. I think a better kind of rule to follow when it comes to this type of thinking is consistency. I think consistency wins out over perfection every single time.
Lee Kantor: You don’t have to have things figured out perfectly in order to start. You don’t need the perfect system to start. You don’t need the perfect message to start or the perfect offer to start. You just need to start. Once you start, then you begin iterating. Just learn and then change and learn and then change. If you show up consistently and just relentlessly improve as you learn more, you are going to win over time.
Lee Kantor: The professional who shows up imperfectly every week is going to beat the professional who waits for perfection and never takes action. So, whether it’s your newsletter, your networking, your content, your follow-up system, whatever it is you’re struggling with right now, consistency is what is going to build momentum.
Lee Kantor: Doing the thing cannot not be done. You have to do the thing. And when you do that, you’re going to learn what people expect from you, what gets you noticed, what works, what doesn’t work. Your brand is going to get reinforced. Your skills are going to improve through this repetition.
