BRX Pro Tip: Eliminating Friction Points
Stone Payton: Welcome back to Business RadioX Pro Tips, Stone Payton and Lee Kantor here with you. Lee, I feel like you are particularly adept at identifying friction points in processes and helping people remove them. But what’s your secret, man? What’s your process for that?
Lee Kantor: Well, I make a point to not just continually adding things. And I think that’s a mistake that a lot of folks do. They think that growth means addition. And sometimes growth means subtraction. And it’s important to always kind of take inventory about the things that you got in and around your life, whether it’s processes and systems, and seeing where you can remove things. Because what happens over time, especially as we become more affluent as a society, we’re constantly adding or we’re never subtracting.
Lee Kantor: So every unnecessary form, confusing email meeting, they complicate things, creating more friction, creating more bureaucracy. Small improvements might be insignificant, but they just compound, and it affects the relationship and the experience down the road.
Lee Kantor: So today, identify one point of friction, remove it.
