BRX Pro Tip: Partner Up to Scale
Stone Payton : Welcome back to Business RadioX Pro Tips. Stone Payton, Lee Kantor here with you. Lee, we’ve certainly learned that trying to scale alone, it’s slower and it’s harder, isn’t it?
Lee Kantor: Yeah. I think it’s so important to find your people, find your partners. I think there’s a saying that goes, if you want to go somewhere fast, travel alone; if you want to go somewhere far, have a team around you. And there is a limit to how far you can grow alone. The answer isn’t just working harder; it’s finding the right partners.
Lee Kantor: With the right partner, you can do anything, and not just anyone who’s willing to collaborate. There’s lots of people who raise their hand, “Yeah, yeah, I’ll help.” But it’s the organizations that already have deep relationships with the exact people you want to reach.
Lee Kantor: Find those people. Find the associations, the coaching organizations, the certifying body, the franchises, any group that has built a community of your ideal clients; you better know who those organizations are. Find them. Partner with them.
Lee Kantor: If you can become a trusted resource to those organizations, you instantly have access to their entire networks and you’re not going in there cold. You are going in there with their endorsement. And if you can do that, that is going to accelerate your growth.
Lee Kantor: So, here’s how to think about it. First, identify who has already earned the trust of your ideal client. Second, figure out what you can offer that adds genuine value to their members, something that actually helps their members get the outcome they desire. And third, approach that relationship with a long-term mindset. You’re not trying to mine their list. You’re trying to become a partner that they’re proud to recommend. That’s how you’re going to scale without having to build every relationship from scratch.
