I’m Leta and I’m the a mother of two amazing minis, soon to be a stepmother of two others, a vendor boutique owner, interior designer, blogger, and podcaster. That’s all on paper (well more on the computer nowadays). What I’m passionate about is helping people create spaces they love, traveling the world, and encouraging others to live their best life. I guess I should have started by saying I love God, religion, and spirituality. I call myself a seeker and I can’t get enough knowledge about the world. I would give anyone the shirt off my back, but I’ll also be the first to set anyone straight. It’s a quality that can rub many the wrong way. I say what I mean and I wear my emotions for all to see. I don’t apologize for it. That’s all me and also, why I’m here. Dr. Alexis Williams is one of 11 children, a wife, and the mother of six. She is a dedicated, conscientious, and proven community leader and advisor; an attorney; a business owner; a Pastor’s wife; and an advocate for all children. Dr. Williams received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Stony Brook University in New York, and her Juris Doctorate from Oak Brook College of Law and Government in California.

Dr. Williams has been active in the community for over 20 years and has served the Gwinnett County Public School system in many capacities, partnering with parents and educational stakeholders to enhance the educational experiences and outcomes for students. Her involvement ranges from serving as the Vice President of the Parent Teacher Student Association, on the board of the Youth Leadership Development program, to volunteering as “class mom”, lacrosse coach, and local school council advisor.
