David Shavzin/The Value Track

David Shavzin created The Value Track to help business owners build value and create a path towards a successful exit. Too often, they have not built the value they need and are unprepared when the time comes to put their transition into action.

Since 2000, David has helped business owners get on The Value Track. He helps them think through their long-term goals and plans, educates them on business value and brings the right collaborative advisory team around the table. He then assists in the implementation of value-growth initiatives, guiding them to a successful transition (sale, family transfer, etc.). His 7-step process improves their quality of life and allows them to exit on their own terms.

A frequent speaker on these topics, David is a CMC, former IMC Georgia chapter president, and President and Co-Founder of Exit Planning Exchange Atlanta, formed to bring advisors together in a collaborative effort to serve their clients.

Monte Ortel/Mitsubishi Electric Classic

The Mitsubishi Electric Classic is a PGA TOUR Champions event hosted annually at TPC Sugarloaf.

The Mitsubishi Electric Classic returns to the metro Atlanta area April 13-19, 2020 and features legends of the game such as Tom Watson, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Bernhard Langer, John Daly, Vijay Singh, and David Toms. The Mitsubishi Electric Classic proudly stands as a premier golf tournament on the PGA TOUR Champions, but this event is much more than a golf tournament.

The events and activities associated with the Mitsubishi Electric Classic provide an all-inclusive, entertaining atmosphere and the beautiful views of TPC Sugarloaf serve as a backdrop for world-class golf and provide the perfect venue to mingle with friends and business leaders while watching the legends of the game.

The event, which will benefit local charities through the Gwinnett Championship Foundation Inc., has raised over $2.3 million since the first tournament in 2013. All three rounds of the Mitsubishi Electric Classic are televised internationally by the Golf Channel.

Mike Maloney/TPC Sugarloaf

Situated on 1,200 acres of breathtaking Georgia countryside within the gated community of Sugarloaf Country Club, TPC Sugarloaf offers a winning combination. In addition to 27 holes of magnificent golf designed by Greg Norman, TPC Sugarloaf offers an array of amenities with the personalized service and privileges that have become synonymous with the PGA TOUR’s acclaimed TPC Network of premier clubs.

TPC Sugarloaf’s par-72, 7,259-yard championship golf course is comprised of nine holes called “The Stables” and nine holes named “The Meadows.” Named by Golf Digest among the “Best New Private Clubs in the U.S.” when it debuted in 1997, and by Golfweek among the “Top 100 Best Residential Golf Courses for 2007-2008,” TPC Sugarloaf’s featured 18 holes are accented by tree-lined Bermuda fairways, streams, lakes and hills.

Gwinnett County is unique when it comes to the professional sports landscape, but is the Gwinnett sports scene getting too crowded? These issues and more are addressed on this special edition of “Gwinnett Business Radio“.
