Michele Dock

As the Founder and Managing Partner of Integrated Performance Consulting, Inc., Michele brings over 30 years of know-how as a practitioner of individual and organizational performance. She founded IPC with a commitment to create productive, healthy and successful businesses by equipping individuals with new capabilities and mindsets, and positively transforming the organizations within which they work.

Michele has guided domestic and international enterprises in many industries including Consumer Products, Banking and Financial Services, Insurance and Health Services through small process improvements, as well as large-scale cultural shifts. Through the years, Michele has been relied upon by many leaders to provide counsel, create strategy and implement solutions that change what work gets done, how it gets done, as well as enhance the ability, commitment and fulfillment of the people doing the work.

Prior to founding IPC, Michele was a director at The Coca-Cola Company, she had global accountability for many core HR practices, transforming many of the company’s capabilities including talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and selection systems. Earlier in her career she was a manager in Accenture Consulting’s Change Management practice where she guided companies through major cultural and strategic changes as well as development of a wide-range of people programs.

Whether creating competency models and determining how to apply them to all HR practices including compensation, or leading change management efforts Michele uses her blend of knowledge of human resources, business, operations, and organization dynamics to create sustained results. Her extensive experience as an HR executive and a consultant results in a valuable mix of pragmatism and technical depth.

Michele received an M.S. in Educational Psychology from Purdue University and a B.A. in Psychology and Mathematics from Arcadia University. She is an advisory board member of the Atlanta Workshop Players, a member of the American Society for Training and Development, and the American Psychological Association.

Welyne Thomas, Ph.D.

Welyne is a Principal with IPC, has been a consultant and executive coach for over 25 years with a practice centered in helping individuals and organizations optimize their performance.  With expertise in talent management, HR and organizational strategy development, and coaching she has been successful in helping organizations such as AT&T, Cingular Wireless, Georgia Pacific, Delta and AGL Resources.

She has overseen and participated in every aspect of talent management from program development to individual assessment.

The use of psychometrically reliable and valid instruments, psychological principles, and practical knowledge allow organizations to be confident that they have the best information possible in making important talent decisions. The cornerstone of her work is the use of competencies and/or job-content analysis to plan and institute selection and development programs for all levels of management.

Using the business strategy and goals as the lodestar, she has been successful in aligning structure, strategy, processes and systems, within the context of culture and values to promote the business’ success.  Her ability to combine the individual perspective with the organizational perspective is key to the results she has achieved.

In addition, Dr. Thomas has coached senior executives and leaders across a broad range of companies from large Fortune 100 companies to start-up organizations.  In general, her clients want to broaden, deepen, or stretch their skills and organize work in ways that allow them and the organizations they lead to be successful.  Her clients are not just interested in getting top results; they care how those results are achieved.

Working with IPC has allowed Dr. Thomas to bring all her training, experience and interests together to achieve the greatest value for businesses through an integrated and holistic methodology.

Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society of Industrial Organizational Psychologists (SIOP), and Consulting Psychologists interest group of the APA.  She has made presentations to SHRM, SIOP, and other organizations on various topics such as making HR a business partner, teaming, and work stress and strain.
