Ken Davis, Renasant Bank, 2025 GNFCC Lifetime Achievement Award

Ken Davis is the Georgia Division President at Renasant Bank, where his leadership has been instrumental in expanding the bank’s presence and increasing both commercial and consumer loan and deposit shares. He brings over 40 years of experience in finance and banking.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University and serving six years in the U.S. Army, Ken began his banking career in Atlanta. Prior to joining Renasant Bank, he held executive roles at other regional banks. Ken is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking.

Ken is actively involved in his community, serving as a member of the Rotary Club of Roswell. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of North Fulton Community Charities. During his time living in and supporting the North Fulton Community, he has also served on the Board of Directors for the Gwinnett Chamber, Johns Creek Chamber, Georgia Ensemble Theatre, North Metro Miracle League, March of Dimes of North Fulton, Ed Isakson Alpharetta YMCA, and the Chattahoochee Nature Center. Ken was part of the teams that selected executive directors for the Roswell Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Greater North Fulton Chamber. His efforts in these organizations reflect his passion for enhancing the quality of life in North Fulton.

Ken Davis has 30+ years of experience in the finance and banking industry. After graduation from college and serving six years in the U.S. Army, Ken returned to his hometown of Atlanta to begin his banking career. Prior to joining Renasant Bank, Ken served as an executive banker at other regional banks with responsibility to increase both commercial and consumer loan and deposit share in North Metro Atlanta. Active in the community, Ken is a member of the Rotary Club of Roswell and serves as President of Roswell Economic Development & Tourism, Inc. He has served as past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and is a graduate of Leadership Gwinnett.

He has served on the boards of Georgia Ensemble Theatre, North Metro Miracle League, March of Dimes of North Fulton, the Ed Isakson Alpharetta YMCA and the Chattahoochee Nature Center.

Ken and his wife, Miriam, have three grown daughters and two grandchildren.

Kent Davies is the President and CEO of the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce.

Prior to joining the Johns Creek Chamber, Kent retired as Vice President of the World Financial Group, as well as President of the WFG Foundation. WFG’s Worldwide Headquarters is located in Johns Creek. As Vice President, he worked with a large financial services sales force in both the USA and Canada. As President of the WFG Foundation, he led fund raising efforts, operations, and grant distribution to help serve those in need across the world. He is also a licensed life, accident & health agent and a securities registered rep, holding a supervisory license.

Kent also serves as a Board Member on Johns Creek Advantage helping with ‘smart growth’ of Johns Creek bringing & growing business and jobs to Johns Creek.

Kent and wife Susan met while both attended college at Brigham Young University. They have 4 children and 10 grandchildren. Kent also is a community volunteer in many projects, including a program that helps find employment for those in need and directly facilitating an emergency preparedness program involving 200 families through his church. Past positions held include Division Manager for GNC/DCI with responsibility for 1,800 franchises and 30 company units and VP of Operations for over 100 restaurants. For recreation Kent enjoys scuba diving, travel and spending time with family.
