Author J.L. Robb joins host Rick Strawn to discuss his 7-book series, The End, The Book, about prophecies that have not yet happened.

Jerry Robb/Author J.L. Robb

Born in January of 1947, the journey of Jerry Robb from birth to author of 12 books is an intriguing story in itself. He was born into a world-wide pandemic. Like the pandemic the world is experiencing today, polio was also viral. There was no vaccine. At age 5, polio hit where Robb lived in North Carolina, so he was sent to live with relatives in Georgia. It was there that Robb got his first taste of Aunt Kiki’s Bible. At age 10, he read the Book of Revelation with his cousin and has been hooked since.

Robb left home at 16, graduated from high school, joined the Navy from 1968-74, graduated from NC State University with a degree in Zoology, and became sales manager for a major medical company. Then he and a few friends opened what Billboard Magazine branded as Atlanta’s Hottest Disco in 1978. The drift away from
the God he knew continued.

In 1979, Robb revisited Revelation and was hooked again. He decided to read the Bible from cover to cover, and 24 months later, was hooked on the entire book. In the process, he studied Bible Archaeology.

In 2000 at the age 53, Robb began hearing a calling to write a book series when he would pray. After 10 years of hearing the voice, he thought maybe it was God. At the age of 63, he decided to take the journey if God would help him since he had never written a novel. He began to have a series of dreams telling him some of the stories that are in the books. He would wake up, write it on a post-it, and stick it on the bathroom mirror. He said he knew they were messages because “I could have never in a million years thought up the story I wrote.”

In 2010, he began to write and the journey lasted 9 years. During that time, Robb dealt with prostate cancer, malignant melanoma, open-heart surgery, Bell’s Palsy, and two minor strokes. He trudged on, never quitting, trying to finish before health problems did him in. A friend suggested he was really ticking off Satan and to keep up the good writing.

So he did and his much-talked-about The End-The Book-The Series, a 7-book series about prophecies that have not yet happened, is rated 4-5 stars in Amazon Reviews.

Now 75, he admits it was quite a journey and the dreams kept him going. “This is a fictional account of an End Times possibility. No one knows how it will
actually be, just that we are held accountable. Be Aware!”

John Sabic is a fiscal conservative candidate running for Gwinnett County Commissioner. With all that is going on around the world, and a great love and devotion for the United States, Georgia, and Gwinnett County, John re-evaluated and rearranged his priorities to preserve Gwinnett County and to uphold the values and integrity that the people of Gwinnett hold closest to their hearts. John will fight for lower property taxes, crime prevention measures, safer communities, better roads, and better overall management of our resources. John opposes like high-density developments on every corner, unbearable traffic, high crime rates, high property taxes, and budget overruns.

Mark Gonsalves/Candidate for U.S. Congress (Georgia District 7)

Candidates make bold claims about issues they’ll support and oppose when elected. Sadly, most do not live up to their promises. Mark Gonsalves has a history of doing what he said he’d do in both personal life and business. He’s proud of that reputation and will use the same no-nonsense determination to fight for, in particular, the issues highlighted on this podcast as your next Representative in Congress.

A successful businessman, Mark gets things done. Congress desperately needs leaders who have the courage to do what’s right for “We The People”. We need more outsiders, not career politicians, who have the guts to stand up to the nonsense in DC and put Freedom First!

Clint Dixon/Georgia State Senator (District 45)

Born and raised in Gwinnett County, Clint Dixon has a passion for serving the community. Over the years, he has served Gwinnett County on the Planning Commission where he’s worked with homeowners, businesses, and landowners to champion common-sense zoning decisions. He has also been a leader in promoting the Ivy Creek Overlay and previously served on the Water and Sewer Authority where he fought to keep rate low.

Clint Dixon is no stranger to hard work. Like so many across the community, Clint is self-made in business and real estate. He got his start in the real estate industry in the early 2000s and has seen the ups and downs of good times and bad. He started his career in land acquisitions until the Great Recession hit. He then started Longleaf Realty which specialized in bank-owned properties. With a lot of hard work and sweat, he managed to survive. He then worked as the real estate, construction, and site selection Manager for Hewatt Enterprises in Lawrenceville. Today, he works as an Acquisition Manager for Chafin Homes.

A committed family man, Clint has been married to his wife Hayden for 16 years. They have 3 children, Hudson (12), Berkley (9), and Emsley (6), who all attend Buford City Schools. On the weekends, he can be found shuttling his kids around to cheer, football, and basketball practices or games.

John Chan and Rick Strawn

John Chan/Republican Candidate for Georgia House of Representatives (District 97)

Georgia House of Representatives candidate John Chan is a fighter. He knows how to roll up his sleeves and get to work. He never planned on entering into politics, but after watching the country dwindle so fast, and seeing how many politicians are not doing what is right for the people, John knew he needed to step up to the plate and get involved before it was too late. John is an America First Conservative running for House District 97 in Georgia (Norcross, Duluth, Peachtree Corners, and Berkeley Lake).

John was born in Columbus, Ohio to Chinese parents who fled on foot to Hong Kong when the communists took over in 1949. They saved up every penny they could to emigrate to the US in 1966 for fear of the communists taking control of Hong Kong. His first job was delivering newspapers for the Columbus Dispatch at the age of 8. It was there that he learned discipline, tenacity, character, and resolve to reach the level of success he has reached today. After graduating from high school, he pursued his studies at UCLA where he earned an Economics degree and then started a very successful business career winning many awards and helping hundreds of people start onto a new career path which allowed them to build a happy life for themselves and their families.

John is a fervent believer in pushing through the barriers to get the job done. He feels Americans should always be able to own and manage their own property. He is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and the perils of giving the Government too much power over peoples’ lives. He is an America First patriot who will secure the elections and only vote for support of those coming into our country legally. His actions will be geared towards creating jobs and empowering businesses with lower taxes and regulations. He is against CRT and all sexual indoctrination of children and will do all in his power to remove this from the Georgia schools.

Josh McKay/Candidate for State Senate District 7

State Senate Candidate Josh McKay graduated in 1998 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and got a job in the wireless industry in Gwinnett where he worked as an engineer, technical contract negotiator, went to night school at Georgia State, and picked up an MBA along the way.

Yet his true passion was education, so eight years ago, he left the corporate world and started The Test Experts, a tutoring company focused on ACT and SAT prep for high-schoolers. He’s trained a number of other instructors since then, but still tutors every day. Every afternoon after school, Josh sits with high-school students one-on-one or in small groups to teach algebra, physics, calculus, or preps them for the SAT and ACT.

Josh is an engineer. He’s negotiated highly technical deals. He’s worked with attorneys and consultants and written legal contracts. He’s a small business owner and an independent educator. He will bring those problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as those coalition building and technical writing skills, to Atlanta to spread the message of faith, family, and freedom.
