The school curriculum is advanced, comprehensive, and enriched with music, art, technology, library science, physical education, and Spanish. There are additional courses in Middle School, such as geometry, health, creative writing, research skills, and yearbook. Many after school activities are available.

CLA faculty are dedicated, caring, and well qualified. Each teacher instructs in his/her educational field of study. Our Pre-primary Program is led by Montessori certified teachers.

School Hours:

  • 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. for Preprimary
  • 8:00 a.m. – 2:50 p.m. for Kindergarten through eighth grade
  • The CLA After School Program is available each day until 6:00 p.m. ($6.00 per hour fee)
  • Early morning care from 7:20 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. in the gym (complimentary supervision- NO FEE)

As a leading college-preparatory school in Pensacola, CLA strives to enroll a maximum of 16 students in each preprimary class,  a maximum of 20 students in Lower School classes (kindergarten through fourth grade) and 22 in middle school (5th-8th grade) classes.

Need-based financial aid is available to students each year. It is our intent that no qualified student will be denied a CLA education simply based on financial considerations.

We invite you to visit our campus and discover the difference a CLA education will make in the life of your child! Please visit our Admissions page and contact Dominick Giombetti, Director of Admissions,  at 850-432-1768 or dgiombetti@creativelearningacademy.org.

The University of West Florida recently honored more than 250 students at the 28th annual Student Leadership Awards Banquet, hosted by the Division of Student Affairs. Students were recognized for various achievements, including completing thousands of hours of community service, managing millions of dollars in funding and embracing leadership roles that benefit campus life.
The ceremony and dinner, held April 10 in the UWF Conference Center and Ballroom, featured alumnus and Pensacola City Council President Charles Bare as the keynote guest speaker. The division presented 14 awards, recognizing students for their leadership on campus, in the community and beyond. For a complete list of awards and recipients, see below.
Deborah L. Ford Emerging Leader Award
Dr. Rebecca Kennedy, assistant vice president of student affairs and director of UWF Counseling and Psychological Services, awarded sophomore Kishane Patel with the Deborah L. Ford Emerging Leader Award. Named for a former vice president for student affairs, the award is presented annually to a freshman or sophomore who demonstrates a genuine commitment to the University, specifically in the area of student life.
Patel serves as chief of staff for the Student Government Association’s president’s cabinet and as sponsorship chair for the Campus Activity Board. He also is an active member of UWF MEN. In 2016-17, Patel will serve as SGA Vice President.
Outstanding Student Leaders
Zimmern recognized junior Brandon Robinson with the Outstanding Student Leader Award, given to a junior or senior who demonstrates a collegiate record of leadership and service to the University and campus life.
Robinson serves as Senate president for the Student Government Association; president, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity; public relations chair, African American Student Association; and involvement navigator, Student Involvement.
Collectively, students in these organizations recorded more than 7,500 hours of community service in 2015. Six groups received the Bronze Award for 200-499 hours of service; five received the Silver Award for 500-999 hours; and two received the Gold Award for more than 1,000 hours. These organizations included eight chapters of the University’s Fraternity & Sorority Life community, the Kugelman Honors Program, and four academic- or interest-based student organizations. Students who completed 20 hours of service or more were recognized individually for their contributions.

About Blues Angel Music

Blues Angel Music (BAM) was founded in August of 1997 by retired Navy Captain and fighter pilot Jim DeStafney. He and his wife Nan, a retired Navy forensics officer, have grown the store from its one-man, 1,000 square foot beginnings into a 15,000 square foot, full-line music store, complete with a fully-staffed school of music.

Serving the Pensacola area, Blues Angel Music provides an impressive selection of new, used, and vintage gear for the beginner and the professional musician alike. In addition to our selection of new, used, and vintage gear, and Blues Angel Music’s School of Music, BAM has become Pensacola’s best choice for band and orchestra instrument sales and rentals.

We have been named a NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) Top 100 Dealer 5 years running and we’ve also been voted Best of the Bay. These awards are due to our friendly staff of experts who are eager to provide information and advice relating to any of the instruments and accessories we offer. It is the goal of every crew member at Blues Angel Music to be the Gulf Coast’s “go-to” spot for aspiring musicians as well as gigging professionals.

A Little About Our Foundation:

The Blues Angel Music Foundation aims to make a positive impact on the Greater Pensacola Area through the promotion of music education, instruction, and therapy throughout the lifespan of any and every individual it touches. We will seek out and support organizations, scholarships, and other efforts to engage the mind and body through music. Your donations are hard at work in our community!

Said it before, and we’ll say it again. We’re generally not huge fans of the pomp and circumstance that tends to come with taking phones we’ve already seen out of boxes. But sometimes things are special. There was the LG Optimus Black “Unbooking” way back in 2011. Only a few months later we had the bizarre alien head that was part of a promotion for Verizon’s Motorola Droid Bionic. There have been others, of course.

But LG’s back again with the LG G5. It’s as polarizing as it is intriguing. On its own it’s a more-than capable phone. But throw in that it’s got interchangeable modules and that “Friends” ecosystem of accessories — plus a new user interface , and there’s a whole lot going on here.

So to kick things off, LG’s sent us a good chunk of the family. We’ve got a T-Mobile G5. We’ve got the CAM Plus and Hi-Fi Plus modules. And we’ve got the 360 CAM virtual reality camera. They’re all in boxes, of course, and were sent in a case that you just can’t help but have a little fun opening up.

“We don’t need Fundamental Transformation. We need to get back to Fundamentals”

We must have representation that will stand up and speak out for these values. I am ready to represent Florida District One in leading the effort to put the citizens of this country back in charge of their government. I will:

  • Support and defend The Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies foreign and domestic
  • Work to enact Term Limits and immediately join the term limits caucus
  • Stand strong for 2nd Amendment Rights
  • Stand strong for Individual Liberty and State’s Rights
  • Vote to enforce The Rule of Law in accordance with the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God

                          Elect a Vet

  • 25 year active duty Veteran with global experience.
  • A customer of the VA who knows what needs to be done to care for our veterans.
  • Extensive Successful Leadership Experience.
  • Naval Aviator with over 4,000 mishap free flight hours.
  • Washington D.C. Federal Department, Agency and Office experienced.
  • Graduate of the National Defense University’s Industrial College of the Armed Forces (M.S. National Resource Strategy) with understanding of where major cuts can safely be made.
