Watchers Inspiring Stories of Change contest. Kimberly needed to lose 40 pounds in order to be at a healthy weight so she could donate a kidney to her sick child who was suffering from Multicystic Dysplastic Disease. Her child was born with just one kidney and it was only functioning at 17%. Kimberly’s husband was not a match but she was. So she had to lose the weight – her child’s life literally depended on it.
