BRX Pro Tip: Don’t Beat Yourself
Stone Payton: [00:00:00] And we are back with BRX Pro Tips. Lee Kantor and Stone Payton here with you, Lee, as you know, my father was a high school basketball coach. And I remember, he would always say, “Stone, don’t beat yourself.” And you have some similar counsel along those lines in the business world, don’t you?
Lee Kantor: [00:00:20] Yeah. I think, a lot of times, people become their own gatekeeper. They’re the ones getting in the way of themselves, they’re self-sabotaging or they’re self-selecting out. And that’s, a lot of the time, because of fear. They don’t think they’re good enough. They don’t think that they know enough.
Lee Kantor: [00:00:36] And I think that most business people, business leaders, or entrepreneurs should not be talking themselves out of taking an action. They’ve got to trust themselves. They’re good enough. They don’t need one more credential or one more degree. They deserve the success that they’re on the brink of getting. Business is hard enough. You don’t have to get in your own way. So, my recommendation is trust yourself, you’re good enough, go boldly forward.
