Dr. Jason Moyle has been married for 18 years now with 2 kids.  An 11-year-old and an 8-year-old. I’ve lived in Tucson for about 16 years now but was born and raised the first 20 years of life in Iowa.

I got into Chiropractic after having several bouts of lower back pain.  I grew up working on the Farm, playing multiple sports, and then enlisted in the Air Force for 4 years, so I had multiple minor injuries that accumulated and I ended up seeing a Chiropractor who helped me get better quickly without medications.  This experience piqued my interest and I started heading down that path to where I am today.

Outside of work I enjoy anything sports related, especially basketball and football.  I like to coach youth basketball. Staying active and spending time with my family outdoors along with reading take up most of the rest of my time.

BRX Pro Tip: Relationship Building Moments Transcript

Stone Payton: [00:00:00] And we are back with Business RadioX Studio Partner Pro Tips. Lee, I often talk about ROI, but let’s talk about RBM – relationship-building moments. What are some ways that we can orchestrate, create, craft, create the right environment for relationship-building moments for the guest of our clients?

Lee Kantor: [00:00:24] This is a very important part of our value proposition to our clients is to create these elegant non-salesy ways to either nurture existing relationships or cultivate brand-new ones. Some of the ways that our clients do this now are they do a pre-interview before the interview. When they do the ask, they email, or they contact the potential guest. They say, “Part of the deal is we’re going to set up a pre-interview, either meeting or a call, where we get to chat, and so we can let you know what’s going to happen when you get into the studio,” and to give them kind of some comfort and some understanding of what’s going to happen, but, ultimately, this is the beginning of building a relationship. So, they are getting to get to know this guest by educating them about what’s going to happen.

Lee Kantor: [00:01:11] Another thing is before the show begins, in the lobby, as they wait, that’s another chance to kind of allay any fears, get them some coffee, get them a drink, do let them know everything’s gonna be okay, go over their notes one last time. That’s another great relationship-building moment. Another one, obviously, is the show experience where they get to be interviewed. That’s obvious. Another one is after the show is getting together to discuss how to leverage the show. And maybe then, at that point, open up their mind to some ways where they can work together down the road.

Stone Payton: [00:01:44] And even if all of that doesn’t land immediately or move the ball as far as you might like in terms of selling product or service to that person, what I love about our platform and the way that we execute is you can come back 6 weeks later, 12 weeks later, have more relationship-building moments. And it could be as simple as, “Would you like to come back and get us updated on what you’ve been doing?” or “You did such a wonderful job. Do you know someone else in your extended network, Joe or Jill, that maybe we should also have on the show?”

Lee Kantor: [00:02:16] And then, don’t forget, there’s always the annual get-together with all the guests. That’s another kind of networking relationship-building moment where you can have a breakfast or a meal with all your past guests over the last year, so they can all kind of mingle amongst each other, and then you get to serve them again.

BRX Pro Tip: Client Nurture Transcript

Stone Payton: [00:00:00] And we are back with Business RadioX Studio Partner Pro Tips. Lee Kantor and Stone Payton here with you. Lee, we talk a lot about accelerating new relationships. What about nurturing existing clients? This is a great platform for that as well. Yeah?

Lee Kantor: [00:00:16] I can make a case that, for a lot of companies, just doing this part is a great way to grow their business because it’ll keep their clients longer, and it will open up the door for a lot of referrals. Just by having your existing clients come on to tell their stories shows you care, and that the sponsor really wants to serve them more than just doing whatever it is that they do for them in their business. How many other vendors offer a client an opportunity to tell their story and to get the word out about the good work they do? It’s just very difficult.

Lee Kantor: [00:00:48] And this platform allows those kind of conversations to take place. When you interview your client, and you get them to really kind of dig deep and tell their story, that client may be revealing things to you that can help you serve them more. They may be revealing things to you that can help them know more about you. So, it’s a great way to kind of deepen the relationship in a very elegant non-salesy. And I think a lot of sponsors neglect this. And it’s an easy way to get going, and it’s an easy way to keep that client another six months, another year because they reached out and offered them this opportunity to tell their story.

Stone Payton: [00:01:27] And I’ll tell you from a very tactical perspective, in terms of marketing, what we do to prospective underwriters, clients, sponsors, a lot of these firms consider themselves to be very elegant, and they very much do not want to be very salesy at all. And they’re pretty darn skeptical about building new relationships because they haven’t had that much success in the past, but they resonate with, identify, and can actually visualize using this to nurture clients. So, with that type of prospect, this is where you want to put a little bit more weight in articulating your value proposition, I think.

BRX Pro Tip: Brand Ubiquity Transcript

Stone Payton: [00:00:00] Welcome back to Business RadioX Studio Partner Pro Tips. Lee Kantor and Stone Payton here with you. Lee, let’s talk a little bit about how we go about delivering brand ubiquity for our clients.

Lee Kantor: [00:00:13] Now, part of the value that we provide our clients is that they get to be affiliated with our brand, and we get to share their brand in as many ways as we can kind of creatively come up with. And that’s important for the sponsor in order to see their name associated with us, and our work is very important. So, there’s ways to do it. A lot of our studio partners are doing this in a variety of ways.

Lee Kantor: [00:00:37] Some ways that we can do it – put their brand on the mic flags; we can put their brand around the studio; we can give out co-branded mugs; we can put their business card in mugs; any of our social media posts, we can add their brand to it. Your imagination is kind of the guide here. Just be creative. Anything that is around your studio, you can put your sponsors name on it and don’t be afraid to it. You can do live reads throughout different episodes. You can make certain segments sponsored by the sponsor. There’s all kinds of ways to add a sponsor into the mix of the content we create because we create so much content, and there’s so many opportunities for their brand to come along for the ride. It’s just a matter of thinking about it, charging for it, and then executing on it.

Stone Payton: [00:01:30] No, I think we’re absolute just nirvana heaven for B2B product/service placement. I mean, don’t you?

Lee Kantor: [00:01:39] Absolutely. I mean we have TVs in the room, put them on that. Put them in between segments. I mean, you can put them in a whole different whole lot of places.

As an active 4-H mom and owner of dogs, birds, rabbits, chickens, pigeons, quail and recently a cat, she is an avid animal enthusiast.

Lisa Benson born in Phoenix, AZ and grew up in the small, farming community of Buckeye, AZ. Both sides of my family worked in farming Cotton, Alfalfa, and cattle, had huge vegetable gardens, lots of chickens and an occasional pig or goat. That would seem a long way from what you do now Lisa? She graduated from the University of Arizona in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.  She and her husband were married in 2000, and you have lots of dogs, a cat, several rabbits, chickens, pigeons, quail, cockatiels, tortoises, and fish! and your daughter raises rabbits, quail, chickens, and pigeons for the Pima County 4H program and competes in shows all over Arizona and the big show is the Pima County Fair in April. I guess you can take the Farm Girl out of Buckeye but not for life or your daughters for that matter,

Lisa likes to keep busy, being recently nominated for the board at the Greater Vail Area Chamber of Commerce and will add that to my busy life of work with Too Busy Gals and volunteering as the Rabbit Coordinator for Pima County 4H and The Club Leader and Rabbit Leader of the Little Rascals 4H club in Vail.
