Impressive gains in our understanding of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) have not created therapies that are safe and effective. In March of last year, MapHabit was founded out of a mutual passion to help people with memory impairment live better.
The MapHabitTM System (MHS) is a personalized, mapping software for mobile devices that is safe, noninvasive, and low in cost, which helps memory-impaired individuals and caregivers accomplish activities and improve independent function. The innovative part about MapHabit’s patent-pending process is that it is highly adaptable so that as a person’s cognitive abilities change, the accessibility features also evolve with the individual.
MapHabit’s software is being translated to various languages/cultures and will be potentially used across a myriad of medical conditions spanning AD/related dementias, special needs (developmental and physical disabilities), mental health, physical/occupational therapy, etc.
