

Don Moreland began working in the solar industry in 2011 developing distributed generation and utility scale solar PV projects. Don has developed 5+ MWs of solar facilities for TVA and Georgia Power solar programs as well as commercial and residential applications providing development services including site selection; financial modeling; program and incentive compliance; permitting; and contract drafting and negotiation. Don is founder of Solar CrowdSource, an innovative turn-key platform to facilitate the rapid deployment of Solarize and peer-to-peer crowdfunding campaigns including campaign structuring, stakeholder collaboration, RFP drafting and facilitation, web design, graphic design, CRM, automated marketing and education services. Solar CrowdSource is accelerating the growth and reducing the soft costs of solar by facilitating over 1MW of distributed solar since 2016 including over half of all residential solar in Georgia. Don is a proud to serve as Chair of the Georgia Solar Energy Association, member of the Georgia Solar Energy Industries Association, and a member of the State Bar of Georgia.

Trey Gibbs has 18 years of corporate responsibility, corporate sustainability, and environmental compliance work experience gained from the hospitality, manufacturing, pulp and paper packaging, renewable energy, consumer product goods, not-for-profit, petroleum, and land development industries. Gibbs has assisted multiple consultancies to create sustainability product offerings, developing new business, writing winning proposals, and managing the implementation of large-scale sustainability projects. He has expertise with the identification, quantification, and mitigation of corporate environmental impacts, the establishment of sustainability data tracking systems, and the creation of key performance metrics for assessment and reporting of environmental performance.
