Cherita Kempson and Patricia Williams-Co-owners/Cupcake Endulgers’ Boutique

Cupcake Endulgers’ Boutique is the creation of two former educators, Cherita Kempson and Patricia Williams, that decided to take the leap and BAKE our derrieres off!.

Cupcake Endulgers’ Boutique is Atlanta’s premier cupcakery. We offer delectable goodness in a petite treat. Light, fluffy and moist gourmet creations for every palate to enjoy. We pride ourselves in using all high quality, natural ingredients; including organic products when possible.

” We became good friends, working in the school system for years. We explored infinite possibilities of how to continue serving children as innovative entrepreneurs. While jabbering one evening on the phone, as we do quite often, we discovered that we both acquired a new love for baking. We created masterpieces by mixing, frosting, learning and perfecting recipes as we go. Before long, we designed light, fluffy and moist cupcakes to suit any palate.

Now we have the best of both worlds, baking for children, including the one that is still inside of YOU!”

” We pride ourselves in using all high quality, natural ingredients; including organic products when possible. Committed to baking daily in small batches, our cupcakes are fashionably scrumptious!! Walk on down our runway and indulge in an Endulge Cupcake. It is nothing more than divine ’til the END.”

Jeanna Bailey is owner/partner, along with fellow designer Martin Kemp, of your floral matters, llc. Jeanna and Martin started floral matters in late 2009 in the midst of the great, worldwide recession. Determined to survive, Jeanna and Martin built their business client by client and now have a beautiful retail shop in the heart of Midtown Atlanta at W. Peachtree and 14th.

Working closely with your vision, floral matters creates world-class floral décor, making your event unique.

Jeanna is originally from Long Island NY but fell in love with Atlanta during her years at Spelman College. Now having been back in Atlanta for nearly 15 years, Jeanna continues to be just as passionate about floral design as she was in the “early years” and values the marketing and client service skills developed in corporate life.

Jack Perry, Jr. and guest host Karon Cook welcomed Denis Oliverio on today’s Legacy Leaders Radio show.  Denis is with the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit organization that honors and empowers wounded veterans. Winchester, Denis’ service dog, joined him in the studio for the show.

Denis knows first hand the tough issues our soldiers face when they return from the battlefield with injuries. He is a veteran who was injured during his tour in Iraq.

Jack and Karon discover from Denis the story of his injury, his journey through recovery, his transition into civilian life, and the role Wounded Warrior Project played in helping him return to a so-called normal lifestyle.

Wounded Warrior Project raises awareness about injured service members and enlists the public to come to the aid of their needs through direct programs and services.  For more information, please visit www.woundedwarriorproject.org

Jeff Bekiares and Marcus Cannady/SparkMarket Twitter

Jeffrey A. Bekiares (Co-Founder and COO) — Jeff is the Co-Founder and COO of SparkMarket, a Georgia based crowdfunding platform. He is a Georgia attorney with over six years of experience in securities and corporate law. He was one of the first attorneys to identify the crowdfunding potential of the Invest Georgia Exemption (“IGE”) and has worked closely with regulators and experts in the state and national crowdfunding community to design IGE campaigns that are compliant and safe for issuers and investors. His specific expertise is in “intrastate” crowdfunding campaign design and execution, and his company SparkMarket hosted the nation’s first successful securities based crowdfunding campaign in the nation’s history, which closed above its funding goal in November 2013.

Marcus Cannady (VP, Marketing and Development) — Among his SparkMarket peers, Marcus is the resident non-attorney; however, before having warm feelings, he spent nearly 10 years working in the banking industry. In fact, it is his experience in mortgage finance, retail banking and bank management consulting that eventually led to “Big Bank” fatigue. His refuge was found working within Atlanta’s thriving advertising/marketing industry with Cox Media Group. SparkMarket has allowed for the marriage of all these skill sets and experiences–he couldn’t be happier.

Adam Lee/Bohemian Guitars Twitter

Adam Lee, is a South African born entrepreneur and the Cofounder & CEO of Bohemian Guitars. Adam leads Bohemian Guitars, a company with a vision of changing the way people think about musical instruments by offering a more affordable, stylish, & sustainable way to make music. Adam, with Bohemian Guitars recently completed the nations first open equity crowdfunding campaign since 1933 via the Georgia based platform, SparkMarket. This past March, Bohemian Guitars competed at the Global Innovators Competition at the GTS Summit in Palo Alto, a competition judged by VC’s including Dave McClure and Bill Tai (Bohemian Guitars placed 3rd out of 10 international start-ups). Prior to Bohemian Guitars, Adam worked as an IT Project Manager for BCD Travel in which he managed a cross-functional project team of 30+ members that focused on implementing PCI Compliant web, development, and application environments to host and protect sensitive data.

Directional Dimension is a small collective of Northeast Georgia filmmakers who enjoy making narrative shorts and music videos. In addition to his work with Directional Dimension, Bryan has also worked as the Director of Photography and Assistant Director with some the region’s most talented and up and coming directors.

Dan Jordan TwitterFacebook

In addition, he is a certified Sommelier and a talented musician playing 5 different instruments (Guitar, Piano, Voice, Drums & Bass). When he’s not creating stories, music, film or making comics, Dan is extremely boring, because he is busy (you guessed it) snoring! 🙂

Fanny Slater-Fanfare Catering

From handcrafted lunches to homemade dinners, Fanfare is your resource for all things FOOD.  Specializing in one-of-a-kind gourmet sandwiches, Fanny adds unique flare to your everyday fare.  Forget the turkey on white and let me take you into a world where Balsamic Fig Jam meets Orange-Whipped Goat Cheese.

This is not your typical catering company, this is an “ENTREE-preneur“ on a mission to nourish the stomachs and hearts of Wilmington.

Where does the inspiration for her scratch-made cooking come from?  The moments that make up her life are a feast of cherished culinary encounters.  Fanny believe that each person carries their very own anthology of deliciously rich memories and that in order to honor those experiences—they must be brought back to life.  This passion for recreating those tastes of childhood influences her culinary vision.  With well-seasoned techniques and an epicurean flare, Fanny’s recipes recast her nostalgic classics and transform them into sophisticated fare.  Or Fanfare, as she like to call it.

No food memory left behind.
