Metro’s Other Woman of Phoenix owner KNOW Tribe partner, Amanda Larson moved to The Valley of the Sun in 2011 with her husband, Brandon and their two fur babies. Her professional background consists of business development, B2B sales, and recruiting. Most recently, Amanda tackled the challenge of building a multi-million-dollar direct sales operation, where she led her to team to generate over $2.6mm in revenue for the company.
Amanda is success obsessed and gives nothing less than 110% in everything she touches. She is relationship focused and incredibly passionate about empowering women. A self- proclaimed adventure collector and freedom junkie, Amanda spends her free time in the water on her Skater speed boat and off-roading through the dunes on her Turbo 1000 RZR ATV. Amanda’s zest for life and chill vibes bring a breath of fresh air to everyone near.
Founder of metro’s other woman®, Sarah Benken splits her time between managing the national expansion efforts and overseeing the vision of the metro’s other woman® brand. In 2009, overwhelmed with managing her work and home life, Sarah founded MOW Raleigh. metro’s other woman® is a place where clients come to calm their chaos. From housekeeping to laundry to meal prep, you can consider it done.
In 2010, Sarah began her national expansion and licensing program, where women across the country can open their own metro’s other woman® location. Sarah provides a full support program to ensure the new owners are prepared for success. Also in 2010, Sarah expanded to Charlotte, and in 2014 has opened 4 new national locations: Phoenix, Greenville, Wilmington, and Denver. She plans to open three additional offices in 2018.
Sarah is the visionary of the MOW brand and focuses her time on developing the brand: when work and life leave you no time to just breathe, Metro’s Other Woman has got your covered! Her vision is to keep the company boutique in feel, while striving to provide clients with exceptional services to maintain their work-life balance. Sarah thrives as a team leader.
An entrepreneur at heart, Sarah recently launched her second venture, KNOW Phoenix. KNOW Phoenix is a coffee table style book that features 100+ female entrepreneurs, leaders and philanthropists from across the Valley. Launching in Feb 2018, KNOW Phoenix will be distributed to 10,000 people at no-cost. Deemed the new who’s who brag book, KNOW Phoenix delivers readers a vetted list of local female-run businesses.
Sarah has been awarded the prestigious Forty Under 40 Award, while Metro’s Other Woman was a Winner of Triangle Business Journal’s 50 Best Places to Work. Carie Perrino is a Registered Dietitian and Certified LEAP Therapist. During her career she has worked in a variety of places, including hospitals and home health care and developed a love of integrative medicine through her own journey to resolve her IBS.
Lynn Lanza is a masters prepared registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator. In her career she had worked in a variety of settings including WIC and public health, college health, oncology and diabetes education and care. She has always had an interest in diabetes, with her masters thesis being a comprehensive prevention program for adolescents at risk for type 2 diabetes in rural southern Illinois.
