Jon Jarvis with Footprints Floors

Jon-Jarvis-Footprints-FloorsServing as the Director of Onboarding and Training within Footprints Floors, Jon Jarvis takes on much of the onboarding processes for new Franchisees coming in for training. Entering into a new business venture can be intimidating, and that is why Jon places a premium on supporting and adding value to our owners, by arming them with many of the tools and information needed to make the transition as smooth as possible.

From setting up emails for new owners, getting marketing sources built out, and many other important tasks, to helping prep and facilitate our hands-on training week with flooring expert Jon Namba, Jon has his hat hanging on many different hooks within the company.

Having a degree in Nonprofit Management, and a strong bend towards helping people, Jon finds great joy in seeing other people succeed, and better the lives of their families and communities. In addition to his role in helping Franchise Owners succeed, Jon is also one of the senior advisors of the Footprints First Fruits Fund, which exists as the philanthropic and charitable arm of Footprints Floors Corporate. In this role, Jon oversees the fund, manages the relationships with existing nonprofit organizations, and seeks out new opportunities to support and engage with other like minded organizations. Personally, Jon grew up in Vienna Austria, but has lived in Colorado for the last twenty three years. He has a background in both Christian non-profit work and commercial construction. He currently lives in Castle Rock, Colorado with his beautiful wife Emily, and their three kids, with another on the way. He enjoys hiking, mountain road trips, building furniture (woodworking), playing music and spending time with his family in any way he can.

John has had the good fortune to learn under some wonderful leaders and mentors. Bob Moore with United Water Restoration

Bob-Moore-United-Water-RestorationBob Moore has almost 30 years of experience delivering results in the franchise industry. He spent 13 years with Domino’s Pizza – the last 7 as a multi-unit franchisee, owning multiple Domino’s stores.

After selling his stores, Bob went onto work for a couple of “Top 200” Franchise Brands: ServiceMaster and Dunkin’ Brands. At ServiceMaster, Bob was the West Coast Regional Director where he was responsible for 5 states of franchisees.

Bob and his team supported 134 franchisees in California, Arizona, Nevada, Alaska & Hawaii, with the bulk of the revenue coming from the disaster restoration franchisees. At Dunkin’, Bob oversaw about a third of the US for all things training and people related.

While at Dunkin’, Bob also led the team that rebuilt the New Franchisee Training Program, the training you went thru when you first became a Dunkin’ franchise. Bob has been with UWRG for a little over 3 years.

When he started with UWRG, they had 5 franchisees and were struggling to grow the brand. Today, UWRG has 27 franchisees, but more importantly has an improved franchise business model and tools to help franchisees be more successful.

Bob lives in Fleming Island, FL with his wife and son. They have 3 other children in Maryland and Massachusetts. When he isn’t working, Bob enjoys cycling, running and golf.

Prior to joining Threshold, Rachel was a consultant at an Ogilvy company where she led strategy behind digital experience initiatives for brands such as Southwest Airlines, Chick-Fil-A, Christian Brothers Automotive and Caesars.

For the ten years prior to her time at Ogilvy, Rachel worked at Self Esteem Brands (SEB) leading operations for Anytime Fitness franchise, a $1.5B global operation with over 4,000 locations worldwide.

DeNita Carani With Pet Wants

DeNita Carani was recently named as Pet Wants Brand President. Carani, a franchising industry veteran and rescue dog mom, can discuss how she was drawn to the whole mission of the brand: promote the health and wellness of pets and how she plans to help grow Pet Wants, the only national provider of pet food freshly delivered to customers, dominate the fast-growing pet food segment.

Carani has been on both sides of the franchising equation, she served as the senior director of operations for the in-home childcare franchise Jovie (formerly known as College Nannies + Sitters). Before that, she owned the brand’s first franchise in the Atlanta market for 10 years. Carani also built a startup business in the medical alert space from the ground up.

She can discuss her excitement to join Pet Wants which has quickly become a leader in the pet food industry, an industry approaching $50 billion a year in the U.S. With 47 territories sold in the past year alone, the brand is on a mission to open 200 locations by the end of 2024 and Carani can discuss how she plans to help fuel that growth across the country.

Mike Lenard with Takorean

Mike-Lenard-TakoreanMike Lenard is the founder and CEO of TaKorean, which launched in 2010. From a young age Mike was fascinated by street food vendors & has always loved cooking, which became his inspiration to launch TaKorean, a fast-casual Korean-inspired concept with Latin-American influence.

Mike had a vision to bring a fresh twist on Korean flavors to the Washington DC food scene. TaKorean’s “build your own” bowl and taco concept allows guests to create memorable meals, catered to their specific preferences by combining the restaurant’s colorful, fresh, and delicious ingredients.

Originally founded as a mobile vending concept, Mike and his team have grown the brand into a local chain of brick-and-mortar locations and, as of 2022, are on a mission to build out the TaKorean franchise.

Paul Linenberg with Gotcha Covered

Paul excels at being lucky, especially in being able to work with an amazing group of people at Gotcha Covered, and helping provide custom window treatments for people across the US and Canada.

Paul grew up in the Detroit area and his love of the Red Wings has never waivered. He graduated from Miami (of Ohio) and has had to explain that several hundred times over the years. Paul has been in Colorado since 2000.

Paul plays hockey, practices Krav Maga, and occasionally gets behind his drum set to fill the house with slightly off-tempo but incredibly enthusiastic drum covers. Also a fan of craft beer and not cooking, Paul and his wife, Maggie, base their relationship on those three special little words – “diet starts Monday.”
