

Lou Solis/Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office
Lou Solis grew up in Brownsville, TX, the son of Luis Manuel Solis Sr. and Graciela Zepeda Solis. His father mentored him in the importance of public service and embracing our country’s diversity. Lou has lived in areas of low and high crime and understands the impact of professional law enforcement personnel in making communities safe.
A life filled with unique experiences has taught Lou to respect the rule of law, protect members of the community, and embrace diversity. The Sheriff’s Office is a Constitutional Office, Lou understands the need to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.














Jennifer Rusz Powell has a long career working for both corporations and as an entrepreneur. She began her career, in the 90’s in market intelligence, business operations and management for companies such as Mid America Research/Fact in Focus, Lucent Technologies, Kyocera Wireless, ARS/ Current Analysis and Websense Software Solutions before starting her first company in 2004. She has since been a business consultant and now Founder and CEO of 













Monica Kaufman Pearson is the first woman and first minority to anchor the daily evening news in Atlanta, GA, where she worked for 37 years at the leading station WSB-TV. She has won over 33 Southern Regional and local Emmy Awards for reporting, anchoring and her Closeups celebrity interview show. When she retired, she was honored on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives by the bipartisan delegation of the State of Georgia for her years of service on and off the air to improve the lives of the citizens of Georgia.
