Michael Johnson has 14 years working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He began his career working as a hospice social worker in which he supervised and directed teams of social workers. He is now the Vice President and COO of Metta Johnson & Associates comprehensive care management. Diane Weinberg is the Founder of Weinberg Elder Law, LLC. Diane focuses her practice on helping families resolve disputes that often impact seniors and individuals with disabilities. Kim Martin/Nadler Biernath LLC

Kim Martin is an attorney at Nadler Biernath LLC. Her practice focuses on trusts and estates, divorce and guardianship issues, with a specialization in planning for families with a special needs family member. Kim has a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from the University of Virginia (1990). She earned her law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1999). She was admitted to the practice of law in Georgia in 1999. As the mother of two beautiful children, one of whom has autism, Kim brings to her practice an appreciation for the unique challenges and joys of parenting a special needs child.

Before joining Nadler Biernath, Kim was an associate at Lefkoff, Duncan, Grimes, McSwain and Hass, P.C., and an associate in the Estate Planning and Administration group at the Atlanta office of Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams and Martin (now Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams and Aughtry). She has also worked in the State and Local Tax Division of KPMG, LLP.

Kim is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Academy of Special Needs Planners, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), including the Georgia Chapter of NAELA, and the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers. She currently serves on the Board of “Just” People, an organization dedicated to providing safe housing and day programs for disabled adults, and on the Editorial Board of The Mortmain, a publication of the Estate Planning and Probate Section of the Atlanta Bar Association. Kim served two terms as an elected member of the Policy Council for Easter Seals and was named Easter Seals Parent of the Year in 2009. She is a frequent speaker on the subjects of special needs trusts, guardianship, and divorce settlement agreements for families that include a child with special needs.

Bill Hall is a Senior Trust Officer at Fidelity Bank with over 22 years of banking experience. He attended Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and is a graduate of the Trust School at the Cannon Financial Institute. Bill has worked passionately in his career to earn and retain his clients’ trust by listening to and understanding his clients’ needs while never compromising his integrity. His proficiencies include retirement planning, investment management, developing asset protection strategies, addressing tax and estate planning issues, and implementing plans to reach clients’ goals. Scott Harty/Alston & Bird

Scott Harty is a partner with Alston & Bird in the Federal and International Tax Group and focuses his practice on complex domestic and cross-border commercial transactions, including taxable and tax-free mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. Mr. Harty has substantial experience advising corporate and private clients on all facets of U.S. inbound and outbound investments, including treaty planning, due diligence in acquisitions, investments in U.S. real estate, Subpart F and withholding tax issues arising under FATCA.

Mr. Harty also represents clients in tax controversy matters through the audit process and administrative appeals, including the negotiation and settlement of taxes and civil penalties. Brandy Wright/Cambridge Wealth Counsel

Brandy Wright, MBA, CDFA™, CFP® is a Wealth Manager with Cambridge Wealth Counsel. She specializes in working with senior executives and successful retirees. Having extensive experience designing and implementing complex financial plans for Fortune 500 executives and Executive Retirees, she has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Brandy joined Cambridge Wealth Counsel in 2010 and works primarily in the Atlanta-Northside office.

Brandy holds a Masters in Business Administration in Personal Financial Planning from Georgia State (1999) and is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® and a Certified Financial Planner™ professional. She also holds a BA in Finance with a minor in Risk Management from Georgia Southern University (1997). She is a corporate member of NAPFA.

Prior to joining Cambridge Wealth Counsel, she worked for The AYCO Company, L.P., a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs, for seven years holding various positions as an analyst, financial planner and eventually as Vice President (2003-2010). Brandy also spent several years as a Trust Officer with SunTrust Bank in their Fortune 500 executive pension group (1997-1999).

Nick Djuric/Sutherland

Nick Djuric advises clients on estate planning—including the preparation of wills and trust instruments and tax and succession planning for closely held businesses. A member of Sutherland’s Tax Practice Group, Nick practices primarily in estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax; wills, trusts, and administration of estates; tax controversies; fiduciary litigation; and private foundations. In particular, he works closely with private family offices and their professional advisors on multigenerational estate planning. As chair of the Legislation Committee of the State Bar of Georgia Fiduciary Law Section, Nick has been active for many years in the reform of Georgia’s law of trusts and estates.

Nick served as an adjunct professor of law at John Marshall Law School and Georgia State University College of Law, introducing future attorneys to wills, trusts, estates and federal gift and estate taxation. Prior to joining Sutherland, Nick was a law clerk for the Honorable Gerald Bard Tjoflat, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Millie Baumbusch, Gaslowitz FrankelMillie Baumbusch is a litigator specializing in trust and estate matters. This includes contested will cases, claimes regarding trust and estate accountings, claims for breaches of fiduciary duty andabuses of powers of attorney, and a variety of disputes involving trust and esatte holdings in companies and partnerships.

A significant portion of Millie’s practice involves contested adult guardianships and conservatorships. Millie is certified in civil collaborative practice. She has made CLE presentations and lectured on guardianships, how to avoid estate disputes, and other related topics.

Prior to beginning her law practice with Gaslowitz Frankel, Millie was a lending officer to middle market companies at a New York money center bank. During her time there, she held several positions in strategic planning and market research. Millie currently serves on the Board of Directors of the ALS Association Georgia Chapter.
