Dale Cardwell is a six-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, consumer fraud investigator, and founder of TrustDALE.

His career began at WKAG in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and included prominent investigative roles at CBS affiliates in Birmingham, Alabama; WRAL-TV in Raleigh; and WSMV-TV in Nashville. In 1996, Dale joined WSB-TV in Atlanta, the number one station in the nation’s ninth-largest television market, where he teamed up with consumer advocate Clark Howard. Together they formed one of the nation’s most successful consumer reporting teams. Dale’s investigative work saved Georgians tens of millions of dollars and led to the jailing of some of Atlanta’s most notorious politicians.

In 2009, Dale founded TrustDALE, a free online research and referral site that certifies companies based on a seven-point investigative standard developed from over 30 years of analyzing how consumers get defrauded. Dale also hosts Inside Investigations, a weekly program airing in over 100 television markets across the country.

He and his wife, Angie, a hospice nurse, have raised two grown children and make their home in DeKalb County, Georgia.

Landon Mance is a Financial Planner and co-founder of Backbone Planning Partners out of Las Vegas, Nevada. He rebranded his practice in 2020 to focus on serving small business owners after operating as Mance Wealth Management since 2015 when Landon broke off from a major bank and started his own “shop.”

Landon comes from a family of successful entrepreneurs and has a passion and excitement for serving the business community.
