Founded in 1952, Hobaica Services is a family operated cooling and heating company serving the Phoenix metropolitan area. We provide residents of Phoenix with high quality heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, indoor air quality, and custom wine cellar services. Today, our success continues with the philosophy of our founder, “Treat others as you would want to be treated.”

Andy Hobaica grew up working for Hobaica Services since he was 12. He started out as an installer, then was a service technician, and is now a comfort specialist.

Andy’s parents always made sure that they understood how important giving back was, so he started the non profit One Bag at a Time, that hosts monthly events helping the homeless in Phoenix.

Lou Hobaica is President of Hobaica Services. He sold his company to the Service Champions Group on May 7, 2021, with a cash & stock payout. Stayed on to continue our company’s success as President & COO.

Lou was raised in a family of 7…5 boys and 2 girls, and grew up working in the family business starting at 12 years old with a paper route, mowing lawns, making & selling leather goods, building & selling bikes, painting homes, a pizza cook, repairing cars…anything to make a buck.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from ASU in 1983 and has been married for 40 years to his high school sweetheart. He’s the blessed father of 3 boys, 5 grandchildren.

When not working, Lou enjoys family time, helping others, changing lives, collect & restore classic muscle cars, hands-on creative projects & traveling. He loves to garden, make jam & restoration projects.

From there he spent a few months with a local company before his entrepreneurial spirit kicked in and he decided to open the doors to Windy City Equipment.

From 2004 to 2008 he ran the business by himself, knocking on doors, and making connections. His front room was his office, and his garage was his shop. Little did he know that he was building the foundation for what would soon become one of the fastest-growing companies in the US.

Josh Zolin came on with Windy City Equipment in 2008 as a service technician and worked his way through the ranks to eventually become CEO in 2017. His passion for the skilled trades spread through the company and enabled him to create a team of industry professionals that have exceeded the expectations of many.

Eventually, that passion manifested in the form of a book, Blue is the New White, which was published in May 2019. Josh has made it a personal mission to educate America’s youth on the opportunities that exist in the skilled trades in hopes of closing the skills gap, reducing student loan debt, and ultimately enabling the success of millions.

The top man & woman candidate in the country are awarded with the national title. LLS is at the forefront of the fight to cure cancer. Compared to other blood cancer nonprofits, LLS is the largest funder of cutting-edge research to advance cures.They have invested more than $1.2 billion in research. They are leaders in advancing breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine. This research saves lives. Mark Cunningham is Vice President and part owner of Environ, Inc. His company provides Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Equipment for Commercial and Industrial buildings. A Midwest boy from Ohio, he moved to Scottsdale when he was 15 and received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from ASU. The LLS of Arizona nominated him to be a candidate for the 2019 Man of the Year charity based on spotting this mention, his personality, and strong Arizona network. This is the first time running his own charity fundraising event. When not working and running his campaign, he enjoys taking his kids and father to Rocky Point, Mexico every 6 months with his local church and 1Mission to build houses for the less fortunate.

Mark is looking forward to giving back to the community now that he is getting closer to being an empty nester. He has been busy raising 4 kids and successfully launched his daughter Savannah (22) who is a United States Marine and married to a Marine, as well as his son Dane (20) who recently joined the Navy and is currently in pursuit of a position within Special Forces. Cayla (18) and Cade (16) are finishing up their years in high school, while dad enjoys CrossFit training and competitions when not injured from riding live bulls.
