J. Ryan Williams has over 20 years of experience in application development and has been producing audio and video for nearly 30 years. He founded Websuasion in 2007. He is our system engineer, working with clients to develop custom application architecture.

He’s the one you’re likely to see out at networking events and the first point of contact. He roasts is own coffee and collects vinyl records. He also plays in various bands and releases vinyl on his Headphone Treats record label.

Since 1992, Women in Technology has had a mission dedicated to promoting the advancement of women in Georgia’s technology community. Through the WIT COMMUNITY, WIT also educates and encourages girls and young women to pursue careers in STEAM.

Trisha Stezzi is an award-winning change-maker with a two-decade track-record of helping Fortune 500 brands create strategic win-win cause collaborations. In 2017, Trisha founded her own purpose-driven agency and speakers bureau, Significance, to unleash the potential of people and brands to be a force for good.

Penny Collins joins WIT from First Data Corporation, where she served as Chief Technology Control Officer, Global Lead for Disaster Recovery Application Development, and Head of Global Cyber Security and Controls PMO. In addition to leading the company’s technology compliance and controls, she was also the global leader for First Data’s Women’s Leadership Council, and a solid champion for the organization’s support of WIT as a strategic partner.

Prior to First Data, Penny spent time as a business owner and entrepreneur, was Chief Process and Usability Officer for British Telecom (BT), and has spent her career leading global technology teams. She was awarded Women in Payments’ award for Education in 2019 and is an active member of the Atlanta non-profit community.

As Georgia State University’s first Chief Innovation Officer, Phil Ventimiglia is helping shape Georgia State University’s exploration of new ideas for teaching and learning.

Phil has nearly two decades of experience in new technology development and strategy, working internationally and across industries, to foster the growth of new technologies, encourage entrepreneurship and help grow educational opportunity.

Phil currently serves on the advisory board for the Educause Learning Initiative (ELI) and as a mentor in Georgia Institute of Technology’s Flashpoint startup incubation program. Before joining Georgia State University, Phil was Vice President for Innovation and New Product Development at NCR Corporation, where he led a global team that acted as an innovation catalyst and development accelerator. Phil also held the position of Vice President & General Manager for the NCR Hyderabad Development Center in India. In Hyderabad, Phil was responsible for leading the creation of an independent, emerging-market development center with end-to-end, in-market product development capabilities, including engineering and product management. Also, while in Hyderabad, Phil helped facilitate the introduction of a new international school in order to improve educational options in the area.

Prior to NCR, Phil worked at Dell for over 10 years, helping to build and lead Dell’s entry into new lines of business, including Inspiron notebooks, Dell Printers, Dell Flat Panel Monitors, Dell TVs and Dell Projectors. In addition, he spent over three years in Singapore, helping to lead and build Dell’s Singapore Design Center.

Phil began his career as a product marketing manager with the IBM Consumer Division and held various engineering positions at Lockheed Sanders. He holds a Master’s of Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.

Tiffany Green-Abdullah, M.Ed., PMP, is a visionary leader in learning technologies, design education as well as community development. She is a doctoral student in the Instructional Technology program. She was the first recipient of the Master of Education in Education and Technology from Peabody School of Education at Vanderbilt University. As a first-generation student, she received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Vanderbilt. Tiffany began her career at GSU as a Project Manager in Information Technology in 2011. Tiffany is the Assistant Director of Learning Community Development at Georgia State University within the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and the Director of Digital Learners to Leaders, an interdisciplinary project based co-curricular program that develops students’ digital literacy and leadership skills.

Tiffany is a philanthropist and the Co-Founder of The Community Academy for Architecture and Design aka TCAAD (t-cad). TCAAD is the first elementary school for architecture and design thinking school in the nation and will open Fall 2020 in Stone Mountain Georgia with grades K-4. Tiffany has a strong efficacy in designing technology education programs that are cutting edge and culturally responsive leading to STEAM career pathways.

Tiffany is the founding advisor to PantherHackers, a large active student organization at Georgia State focused on developing a culture of problem-solving using technology. Tiffany has produced the Teaching for Social Justice and Democracy speaker series at CETL since 2016 as well as numerous other programs including a gaming industries talent training program, a youth and technology television show, a hardware fund for students, and numerous partnerships to enhance the student experience at Georgia State University.

Tiffany presents on a variety of topics including culturally relevant pedagogy, Hip-Hop in Education, developing socially conscious digital leaders, creating STEAM career pathways and innovating as an intrapreneur.

Tiffany lives in Stone Mountain with her husband Tariq Abdullah, an architect and social entrepreneur, and their 3 children. If Tiffany could do anything else, she would be spreading love and
black heritage with her bean pies and producing television and movies that show the world the beauty of marginalized cultures and communities.

Annette Owusu is currently a senior at Georgia State University majoring in Computer Information Systems. Her campus involvement includes Women in Technology, African Student Association, and Digital Learners to Leaders. Annette held the position of Digital Team Lead for DLL. During her time in DLL, she partook in the creation of a Virtual Reality simulation that helped grade school kids and young adults with financial literacy.

In the next cohort, she lead a team in developing an application that helps young adults and young professionals’ complete tasks while staying motivated. These experiences gave Annette the opportunity to intern with the Coca-Cola Company as a Digital Marketing Intern and FOCUS Brands as an IT Project Management Intern.

Jackie Davis is the Associate Director for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ENI) at Georgia State University where she contributes to the Institute’s vision, strategy, marketing and co-curricular efforts.

In her tenure, Jackie has helped to grow Georgia State’s entrepreneurship programs beyond the classroom. She established and oversees the planning and facilitation of 60+ events a year including: co-curricular workshops, guest speakers, business consultations, university-wide competitions, and several co-sponsored events with notable industry partners. Today, with a Major, Minor and MBA Concentration in Entrepreneurship, as well as three interdisciplinary degree programs (Social Entrepreneurship, Media Entrepreneurship and Biomedical Enterprise) ENI enrolls 600+ students a semester.

Jackie is also the advisor for the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (Georgia State Chapter) and the E-House Living Learning Community. She also assisted in the development of the LaunchGSU Student Incubator, a 3,000 sq. ft., idea-stage incubator designed to foster an entrepreneurial and innovative culture across campus.

Prior to her role with ENI, Ms. Davis supported the development of signature experience programs including, the WomenLead Center and the Advancement of Women – Women’s Mentoring Program. As an intrapreneur, Jackie enjoys building signature programs that support entrepreneurship, women, and economic empowerment.

Ms. Davis holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, a Master of Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and International Business, all from Georgia State University.

Brian Moore is a native of Atlanta, GA and the CEO and Founder of Canis Major Digital, a music tech startup, project manager for Home Depot Corporate, and the co-chair for GSU’s Entrepreneurship Network. Brian’s biggest passion is bridging the gap between creatives and business in the digital marketplace.

Queen Anaeki is a Senior Media Planner at one of the largest marketing and communications companies in the world – Publicis Groupe, a French multinational advertising company headquartered in Paris. Queen manages social accounts, campaigns, and advertising strategies for major international brands.

Queen has also started her own Marketing Consulting Firm where she has focused on growth and marketing strategies for brands, startups and small businesses in the U.S., France, Canada, Nigeria, and Ghana.

MK is a serial tech entrepreneur. He has taken ideas and transformed them into full blown revenue generating businesses. MK has started a number of software companies. He founded Prominus in 2002 to help small hospitals manage their outstanding receivables. In 2008, MK founded Verdeeco, a cloud based analytics platform that energy utilities used to manage and analyze data to gain operational efficiencies. Verdeeco was acquired in 2014 by Sensus, the company that helps Georgia Power measure our electricity consumption and produce a bill. Verdeeco was dubbed iTunes of the Smart Grid.

MK is also a startup mentor and works with startups and entrepreneurs nationwide. He is also a mentor at the Atlanta Tech Village. MK is a soccer aficionado. He loves watching Premier League, and is a Manchester United fan. But he is most excited about the Atlanta United. Please don’t get him started.

Diane Bloodworth founded Competitive Sports Analysis (CSA) and serves as the CEO. CSA’s mission is to help sports teams win by leveraging predictive analytics. She is responsible for company and product strategy and manages the day-to-day operations. Diane is a serial entrepreneur and previous founder of an IT process improvement consulting firm (BIT) that was acquired in 2003. She has more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry, including nine years at IBM. Diane’s IT consulting experience has included assignments with Fortune 500 companies, government, and small businesses.

Through CSA and the company’s scoutSMART brand, Diane is able to combine her love of sports and expert knowledge of analytics and technology.  Diane has a degree in Finance from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business and an MBA from the University of Miami. Diane has participated on sports analytics panels for the Technology Association of Georgia, Titans of Sports Tech, Great Lakes Analytics in Sports Conference, Georgia Institute of Technology Big Data Forum, Georgetown and FC Barcelona Soccer Leadership Summit, UMASS – Using Data to Win, and Ohio State University, Alternate Careers in Sports.

Shailesh Kumar Jha is from India and currently pursuing master’s in computer science from Georgia State University specializing in Data Science and Data Analytics. He has previous consulting experience of close to ten years with companies like IBM and Infosys. He is currently interning at Competitive Sports Analysis as a Data Analytics intern helping the company provide more accurate and robust data to college football coaches.
